    did you rebuild your caches when you removed and replaced the kexts? the old kext might be in relinked kernel cache if you used L/E or S/L/E/.

    sometimes you have to run disk utility and repair the whole drive it might correct your EFI mount issues or give you a reason why its not mounting.
