  1. I am having an issue in regards to "sleep". I have an alps v8 touchpad and using darsch latest v8 kext, but if my laptop goes to sleep on wake the touchpad stops working completely.
  2. I have a v8 ALPS touchpad and the latest Latest R6 version (compiled by Bronxteck) kext doesn't work? Keyboard and usb mouse if fine, but the trackpad doesn't actually work. In the system prefs it is showing the trackpad options though. Any thoughts? Literally everything works on the Bronxteck version... but the cursor movement on the trackpad. One finger click and two finger click work great! The right and left click on my physical buttons work! But no cursor movement.. The RC6 has cursor movement but nothing else works.. I need like a combo of the two kexts haha
  3. Can anyone help me with this?? So my 7510 has an AMD w5170m (R9 375x) and the Intel HD 530. Here is my issue: iGPU only: interal display works correctly, external video outputs (HDMI, miniDP) don't work at all; kernel panic on the miniDP dGPU only: using Ebi framebuffer and ATI inject (Verde kext too for power gates) the system boots but I am getting low color depth on my internal display, there is color banding, gradients look bad. But the HDMI and miniDP work and there is no color banding on the external displays, only my laptop display and I can't fix it... I tried EDID injection... Won't fix it. I tried injecting different framebuffers.. modifiying framebuffers.. (this was all done without whatevergreen.kext btw) With whatevergreen it's the same issue though, low color depth and color banding... iGPU + dGPU: Intel controls the laptop display and it works fine, good color depth. External video outputs only show black screens, but the Mac system recognizes they are there in system prefs. Just black. Ideally, I would just like to pick one GPU and disable the other, but have fully functionallity. If I can fix the video ouputs on the iGPU, or fix the color banding on the dGPU. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. ... Well I looked the precision M thread and found the "FixHeaders" fix, and I applied it and it is now booting and work! Thanks haha
  5. I literally can't get the 10.13.4 installer to boot; I keep getting kernel panic errors with the default tonycrapx86 installer setup. In the past I did get 10.12 sierra to install and work. But I can't seem to get this working. I even tried a clover setup from one of the post on here, the user lamtran has the exact setup as mine and helped me in the past with sierra. I zipped the clover build, but still a kernel panic using that; I also attached a picture of the kernel panic. Hopefully someone here can help? The system specs: Dell Precision 7510 Cpu: i7 6820hq Ram: DDR4 8gb GPU: amd w5170m (AMD 7700) deditcated Thanks in advance CLOVER.zip
  6. So I have backlight working using Rehabmans AppleBacklightInjector kext but my keyboard has backlight keys on F11 and F12 but they don't work. Anyone have this working? Or know how to remap keys on the voodoops2 kext? But I am not smart enough to figure it out?
  7. Yeah, lol; thanks! Still wondering why it says AMD 7700 though and not M375X? But it works, so I am not complaining haha.
  8. Hey so I did the efi shell trick and that worked; but I also wanted to post my success with dual graphics. I noticed everyone is told to turn off the switchable graphics and just go with the dedicated and work that out. Well on my system I have switchable graphics on, and then also the option that pushes external ports to the dedicated gpu is also turned on (tested this off aswell). In clover I am injecting Intel gpu with ig-platform 0x19160000 (the only intel kexts I have is Liui kext) and then I am injecting ATI with framebuffer "buri" (w5170m, shows as AMD 7700). With this combination I have full graphic acceleration on both gpus and they report correctly in system report. Also for the first time on my hackintosh sleep actually works correctly. And because I am using the bios feature to push external ports to the dedicated gpu; my hdmi and mini display port both work. The mini display (tested) is also pushing out correctly to a 2560x1440 144hz display no issues. If I had this feature off in my bios (external ports to dedicated) connecting displays would reboot the system. So I just want to say thank you to a lot of you for all this work; this is literally the only place on the with Dell Precision support. Also, I don't know if lamtran is still watching this forum, but we have similar systems so I tried your clover dump and I noticed you where using ig platform 0x191D0000 (something like that), using your same config I tried 0x19160000 had had much more success
  9. How did you change the memory DVMT to your intel graphics?? I have a Dell Precision 7510 as well and can't find it anywhere in the bios???
  10. So I have my hackintosh almost done and running great! My problem here is getting graphics perfect. My system has an amd w5170m with device ID 6820 (that device ID is in the AMD4000x kext) and under AMD's website is a AMD m375x. I have full graphic acceleration the system just says the device is an AMD 7700 which is device ID 683F and also a desktop card. My system report does so Device ID 6820 though. Sleep is the only thing that doesn't work for me on this laptop. If I inject ATI I can only get boot with framebuffers ebi, gar, and OPM and the system thinks my laptop display is a external monitor. If I don't inject a ati or a framebuffer system report shows AMD 7XXX but the display says "Built in Display" and also the Mini Display and HMDI ports start working. This is freaking confusing?? And I can't get it working correctly! The goal would be for system report to show AMD m375x, the display would says "Built in", all the external ports would work and it would wake from sleep. I know its a long shot but no one seems to be able to help me!! Maybe some AMD7000.kext or AMD4000x.kext modifications would make this work. For reference sake I have switchable graphics disabled in my bios; if enabling that would allow me to use integrated and the dedicated correctly I would be down.
  11. Hey I have an ALPS v8 hardware and with the 6RC2 release my mouse works and i have touchpad settings working, but right clicking on the physical buttons don't work. Can anyone help?
