you have to patch the 2 files as mentioned by salamaahm above. Add the above to your clover config. I have to manually patch AppleIntelFramebufferAzul & AppleIntelHD5000Graphics since I'm using Chameleon. You can get the updated kext in my Yosemite Guide including AppleHDA.

No the vietnam tool does not have a working kext for this model. if you use voodoohda, you'll only get hissing white noise on the headphone The genericUSBXHCI was also in my bootpack, perhaps the vietnamtool has a newer version. works fine with mine but I don't a USB 3.0 device to test...

do you have an Extra folder in your installer with smbios.plist of MBP 9.1 or MBA 5.2? Should have a minimum of kexts in /Extra/Extensions like FakeSMC.kext and NullCPUPowermanagement.kext?

No need to reinstall, try booting with IntelCapriFB=3 -v -f

ok, I think I also have this issue. steps to get it working again: launch kextwizard. select the Loaded tab, do a search for codec on the bottom when found, do a Reload. Sound should come back to the speaker. If the headphone is still not work, just put system to sleep and then wake it up. That's a workaround for now until I could get something better.

No, that's just means you can boot without cache. Safe boot is -x. Remove nullCPUPowermanagement, you don't need that. Run myHack/myfix (quick) and reboot. Leave the myHack.kext alone.

Not sure which version of Yosemite you're running, but download the 10.10.2 files. inside there's a new version of codecCommander 2.2.1 by the-Darkvoid. Install that to S/L/E. See if that helps.

download chameleon wizard. In the modules tab, install Resolution.dylib. This goes to /Extra/Modules

What do you mean you can't boot? Does the chameleon loader load without the USB installer? Does it hang it??? Can you boot with -v -f without the usb installer?

try removing /S/L/E/AppleHPET. Make a backup first

Problem could be the distro you're using. Seems to be missing the graphics kexts and who knows what else. Why don't you just download Mavericks from Apple, it's free. Then you could follow these steps to create your own vanilla image and use the bootpack I supplied. All the necessary files are included in the bootpack and everything will work if use properly. For now, you could modify or.chameleon.boot.plist to the correct resolution and install all the kexts to /System/library/Extensions Graphics Mode 1366x768x32 to Graphics Mode 1600x900x32

yes, boot with the USB installer and then use the terminal run cp /Volumes//System/Library/Kernels/kernel /Volumes//System/Library/Kernels

For reboot issue, you need to copy the patched kernel to the installed drive.
