  1. If 10.10.0. then don't use the 10.10.2 files. 10.10 files are here Latitude_E7x40.zip 6.31MB 256 downloads
  2. I'm assuming you're installing 10.10.2? Go here, install these to /System/Library/Extensions with kextwizard. HD4400:4600_Fix.zip and AppleIntelHD5000Graphics and AppleIntelFramebufferAzul.kext from this E7x40.zip 2.22MB 60 downloads
  3. List system's full specs, extract a raw DSDT and attach it here.
  4. Yes, the AppleHDA clover patching is needed if you use AppleALC. Does the headphones work for you? If not, I'll upload the version I'm using.
  5. Remove the salamaahm's patch and remove IntelGFX = 0x04128086 to FakeID and add install the kexts from here and here to SLE. Just tested on Clover with Yosemite 10.10.2
  6. Try this. Bootpack on post #2
  7. ister, Install this to SLE. Remove the salamaahm's patch and add IntelGFX = 0x04128086 to FakeID, ig-plaform-id = 0x0a260006 to Graphics. Restore original/unpatched Azul and 5000Kext to SLE. run from terminal sudo touch /S*/L*/E* sudo kextcache -Boot -U / then reboot, report your result
  8. When you boot to Yosemite, add flag -v so you see where the hanging problem resides. Post error here. For now, boot to your Yosemite partition /system/library/extensions and remove myHack.kext. Then run sudo touch /S*/L*/E* sudo kextcache -Boot -U / then reboot. Don't run myHack to your Yosemite partition, it's not supported.
  9. The 2 kexts from my guide are patched so you don't need the patch for Clover. Remove the Clover patchs mentioned by salamaahm.
  10. Delete the file I mentioned previously.
  11. Could be a caching problem. Try booting with just -f once booted, run myHack.app/myfix (quick)
  12. A simple search from google would have gotten you here http://wizards.osxla...t/download.html Try Herve's advice in post #36 When you see the Mavericks icon, look below to see if any flags are shown, if so, remove it. If not, try removing FileNVRAM...random number from /Extra
  13. check org.chameleon.boot.plist to see if the flags are there, remove if it's there. For audio, make sure you got the latest version of the kext from the updates below the guide. You must install it to /System/Library/Extensions to work. Use kextwizard.
  14. What did you use to get to step 5? Here's the patched DSDT DSDT.aml.zip
  15. Are you booting with -v -f? If so, don't, should be able to boot without any boot flag. See Wireless Cards link in my signature below for some supported USB wifi cards.
  16. Hmm, the patch shows only for US-FCC or XT-ROW. Look in your Wi-Fi system information.
  17. What's the country code of your card?
  18. Make sure you have the correct version of patched haswell Kernel as the version you're installing. 10.10.2 Haswell kernel for Yosemite 10.10.2 or 10.10.1 Haswell kernel for 10.10.1. Make sure md5 sum of patched 10.10.2 = e4aa23f5631743e604b8ace247a15db4 or md5 sum of patched 10.10.1 = eb21ca4bd7aba97d5e7b080a481fc173
  19. For Synaptic, try this https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-voodoo-ps2-controller/downloads
  20. try this cp /Volumes/"Install OS X Yosemite"/System/Library/Kernels/kernel /Volumes/"Macintosh SSD"/System/Library/Kernels/
  21. in terminal, type in diskutil list Verify that you did name your USB Installer as Install_OS_X_Yosemite In my guide, it's Install OS X Yosemite without underscores. If it shows as the same as mine, then make sure to put quotes around it like this cd /Volumes/"Install OS X Yosemite"/System/Library/Kernels or you could use backward slash like this cd /Volumes/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite/System/Library/Kernels
