  1. Try this. Place in /Extra/Extensions and run myHack/myfix (quick) AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext.zip
  2. You need to patch AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB. Which OS X Mavericks are you running? What's the display resolution? See here
  3. If you're adventurous and know what you're doing, go ahead and upgrade. Fix anything that breaks and let us know or wait and see what others have done. See wireless card on my signature link below for some supported cards. Some are combo cards.
  4. Borrow from a friend or colleague? But be careful not to accidentally wipe their drive...
  5. There are many guides here pertaining to this model if you look harder. Here's one. You'll need a working Macintosh or Hackintosh or Virtual Machine with OS X to start with. Download the latest OS X Yosemite from AppStore for free.
  6. Try booting with flag DSDT=0 -v -f
  7. Thanks for the credit, but this is not my guide. Now look for AppleHDADisabler in /System/Library/Extensions or EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.10 and delete it. Then from the terminal run the following and reboot: sudo touch /S*/L*/E* sudo kextcache -Boot -U /
  8. "No Boot Device Found. Press any key to reboot the machine." The above usually means it's missing the boot loader. You have to be able to boot to the HDD in order to install the Chameleon boot loader. When you boot with the USB and select Macintosh HD, does the icon show as Lion and you have a Recovery HD?
  9. 1st off, please specify your system specs and error you're experiencing. Try booting with -v -f flags and post the error here.
  10. That's because it's an Alps touchpad, not Elan. Click on Exx20 Touchpad on my signature for the correct kext.
  11. Make sure your BIOS is set to AHCI and try booting with USBBusFix=Yes
  12. If you leave the sound preference open to Input - line In, static will be gone. Just don't close the preference, leave it open in the background.
  13. Are you sure you tried them all? have you tried this one? Make sure you have voodoohda and AppleHDADisabler removed and a vanilla unpatched AppleHDA in /S/L/E. DW1510 works OOB but without bluetooth. Look in our database of other cards with combo wifi and bluetooth. You can find that in my signature link wireless cards.
  14. You can download Mavericks or Yosemite from App store for free!
  15. The last line means you're missing FakeSMC.kext. Make sure there's one in /Extra/Extensions.
  16. j00z3k, The DSDT from the EDP pack is for high resolution. Try this one for your resolution. DSDT.aml.zip
  17. Herve's D630 guide here with config file
  18. There's no whitelisting for Dell. Intel Wireless were never supported.
  19. Sorry, forgot to mention in the guide. Sleep is not working with the nvidia card. To achieve sleep, you'll need to use the Intel HD3000. Just replace with the DSDT-off.aml and change the BIOS to Optimus Enable. No need to rebuild.
  20. So your are using voodoohda? Right-click voodoohda.kext -> show package contents Select Contents and you'll see info.plist You might have to copy the info.plist to the Desktop to edit with textedit and then place it back. Repair permission and rebuild cache.
  21. You must be using voodoohda. Modify the info.plist like this <key>VoodooHDAEnableHalfMicVolumeFix</key> <true/> <key>VoodooHDAEnableHalfVolumeFix</key> <true/> <key>VoodooHDAEnableMuteFix</key> <true/> <key>VoodooHDAEnableVolumeChangeFix</key> <true/>
  22. Ok, restore the two graphics kext AppleIntelHD5000Graphics and AppleIntelframebufferAzul to it's original and use this config. config.plist.zip
