how about just using another browser ?.. its not like safari is everything ?!

Then i guess you just found a bug in safari ... one of the many.. just stick with chrome and you will be fine.. i dont think i have used safari since.. we.. never

Ok, get as much detail as you can about the CPU, that one is the key to wether you can run Lion or SL...

Ok, i think you need to reload the kext after sleep... there is an app that automaticly run a script after it resumes from sleep...

Try and use VLC to play movie with instead.. as for blanks, then this is a beavior i see even on my Imac, some discs simply dont work with osx...

you can do alot for the heating, if you replace the pillows with copper plates and use silver paste instead. Ok, let me end this one - since its my call on how EDP is dist. First of all, you should never use a case sensitive file system, it leads to more problems than good. Second of all, all files in EDP will always be distributed in lower case, again, because case sensitive is crap to deal with - in this case, it would be better if chameleon-team correct their code .. my motto is "keep it clean, keep it simple"

Hi, Depends alot on what you are planing to use it for ? My advice(s)... 1. Get the 1,33ghz model 2. Give it a SSD drive (eg. Runcore) 3. Give it 2gb memory I use my D430 every day.. its a fast nice little machine.. i would rather have a D430 than a macbook air.. better keyboard.. good performance etc.

Try and follow the guide like we write on the wiki 1. Install 2. Boot into osx 3. bootloader 4. Install EDP 5. Install updates via update menu 6. REBOOT .. dont reboot before this step... 7. Apply fixes such as sleep...

Here is my geekbench... .. see yourself beaten by a D430
