  1. Just for the fun of it, could you do a new build, but select D620 intel/nvidia (depending on your model)
  2. try and click the " + " and in sysprefs. -> network and see if the card is there. .i have seen on a D830 that i had to add the card because it wasent detected during installation...
  3. try and search the forums.. i'm allmost 100% sure i saw a solution here somewhere
  4. We only support vanilla kernels here.. Read more about how you do a new build wit EDP, then try without the powerpack... http://www.osxlatitude.com/groups/d4xosx/wiki/900e4/How_to_do_a_new_build.html
  5. i have seen the issue before, but not sure of the solution.. quick work around (for now) until we figure this out is to install istat menus or one of the istat dashboard widgets to monitor your machine.. I think somebody else here at the forum had the same problem.. so you might try and search around... one thing to try: * Make sure that you are running latest update of osx * Make sure that you are using EDP 1.8 * Try without the powerpack..
  6. You wont get that to work under osx, the reason is, that the led light is activated from the driver, and support for that simply dosent exists in the driver, meaning your options is: 1. Dont care about it and forget about it 2. Write a new driver that works *good luck*
  7. let me get it right... Your wireless works, but you dont have a green light in the wifi icon on top of the keyboard.. did i understand you right ?
  8. sorry to tell you mate, but to get that to work, you will need support for it in the driver.. and we dont have that..

  14. Hi, To make a new build, check this out: http://www.osxlatitude.com/groups/d4xosx/wiki/900e4/How_to_do_a_new_build.html I think the main issue for you, is that we dont have a working dsdt for your system, however, try and do a new build and select the D630-intel .. i have a feeling that might work for you
  15. click the apple icon (upper left corner) and select update.. simple stuff
  16. Calling D830-nvidia/intel users, Can you please try and do a new build using D630 profile instead and report directly to [email protected] ?
  17. there is none, since you need to have a GUID partition in order to install osx.. (it wont install without) .. presently.. your part. is MBR.. thats why you need to do it as on the wiki
  18. Run a memory check on your machine, and reset bios to defaults..
  19. It will work fine if you use a retail DVD and just follow the guides on the site.. we dont support the use of custom installations, basiclly because you get more than you ask for.. so - as much as it sucks.. please reinstall using the guide on the wiki
  20. osx can be weird at times
  21. did you try and install EDP 1.7 ?
  22. simple.. replace it with a Broadcom.. eg. BCM4321 works great...
