Now I get as far as the apple logo & the load status bar. Almost to the end of the status bar the screen turns gray with 3 vertical bars left of center.

As always Jake Lo, I appreciate your help. I have turned on hidden items, but I am not finding the Extensions folder under System/Library. Please advise.

I do believe I am on the right path. I have created my installer using Clover in legacy mode, but it gets stuck at the load screen. The status bar is complete, but no progress beyond that.

How does one remove AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext in /S/L/E before install?

I have not had any success yet, but I keep trying. There are many how's and why's I do not understand.

Has any one successfully installed El Capitan on a T410 or T410s? Any suggestions on how it might be done? Thank you, Chris

Greetings! I have discovered another non working item. The VGA plug on the back is not functioning. I do not know if it is not supported in OSX. I have set it to boot to the VGA display and it starts in using a monitor plugged in, but after it starts booting into OSX it reads invalid format and nothings is displayed. Any suggestions?

I still cannot get the wifi figured out. I have repeated the steps multiple times with out success. If the system is seeing it why can't it be utilized? Any suggestions?

Hello Jake, Thank you again for your help in all this. Right now I am connecting by ethernet. I did put the Intel card back in just for testing as this model has 2 PCI Express Mini Card slots. I have now removed it connecting the black & gray cables, disabling and re-enabling it in the BIOS as well as going to Network under System Prefs, remove and re-add wifi and still no success. I alternatively used the blue pinkish (orange?) colored wires as described in the T410si Maintenance Manual pages 71-74 as well to no avail. Greetings! I have successfully installed 10.9.5 on a Lenovo T410si following Jake Lo's tutorial, but I am still having some technical issues. 1. No Wifi - The BIOS has been updated & flashed. I have pulled a Broadcom BCM94321MC from my old MacBook Pro and have placed it into the T410si. System Prefs. > Networking recognizes that a card is present, but It will not allow it it be turned on. I made sure the switch is set to on on the front right side. I also tried disabling and re-enabling it in the BIOS as well as going to Network under System Prefs, remove and re-add wifi with no success. It is identified in system information.
