I have booted in Windows on this laptop just to confirm audio and USB still work.Attached is latest debug info. To confirm, what layout ID should I be using ? Just don't understand what i'm missing.You mentioned no need to use the kext patches in cover since i'm using AppleALC.kext.If this the preferred way of doing this, or would you normally suggest using the kext patches in cover and no AppleALC. It was added in ver 2.6. Finally I can say that IOREG dump will never ever fail again.
