DELL LATITUDE 7280 TB

Recommended Posts

Here are the results.

It's still the same concerning the trackpad, still deactivated after wake from sleep but else it's okay.

However backlight becomes way more erratic. It boots with the screen at the lowest brightnes, almost pitch black. I had to do a hard reset to get the backlight at a normal level. Still can't control it if not waking from sleep. That was for both the DSDTs. It has also happened with the original DSDT.

The backlight issue (power management in general?) is actually the most troublesome.

I believe you're booting without DSDT/SSDT correct?

Use the bootpack I sent tldrbro, update to latest from here

It'll be good to know if you're experiencing the same issue with touchpad with new files

@abraxis Yes in my case closing the lid activates sleep (takes about 20 second to get in sleep, before it's just the screen that is off). Only with the bootpack Jake Lo posted.

You have left out all the SSDT's...

Here, replace these into /EFI/Clover. Files are for Kabylake HD620.

tldrbro's system is Skylake HD520, so it's not suitable for your system. My mistake.

Test and report
