gtown
Hi Herve. What exactly would I be changing in Clover Configurator? Fake ID> IntelGFX ? Or GRAPHICS> ig-platform id? Could my DSDT be throwing anything off? Cheers
Administrators Hervé Posted April 24, 2018 Administrators Share Posted April 24, 2018 Both my Captain! 1) you fake the iGPU id to one natively supported by OS X/macOS 2) you inject the appropriate Capri frambuffer/layout through ig-platform-id + tick "Inject Intel "box
Administrators Bronxteck Posted April 24, 2018 Administrators Share Posted April 24, 2018 use latest clover to boot and strip out anything that has to do with graphics in the graphics section of clover config and just click on "inject intel". in acpi section select "fix intel gfx" and also make sure to enable "add DTGP" if you do not overload clover with a million graphics patches or patched graphics kexts or DSDT injection clover can handle intel graphics pretty much on its own when you select inject intel.... except for certain models that need rehabman fake id like mobile HD4200/4400 and maybe some first gen models HD
gtown
Hi guys. So, I tried the above without success. I switched to Mac Mini 6,1 and 6,2 with and without Fake ID's / igpu platforms without success. I am stumped. I removed DSDT patch, still didn't work right. Photo's attached are of current state. Which is no Fake ID, No igpu platform...just Mac Mini 6,1 SMBIOS
Administrators Hervé Posted April 25, 2018 Administrators Share Posted April 25, 2018 Do you really use a patched DSDT file called "System DSDT.aml" ? Or is that a mistake in your Clover config file? And why did you select to drop OEM DSM "IntelGFX"? If the absence of iGPU id faking and Capri layout-id did not get you graphics acceleration, maybe you ought to try with, don't you think? gtown
Hey mate. I re-named my patched DSDT to System DSDT and put it in patched, so Clover Configurator is referring to that. Did you miss something in your above comment? You wrote "maybe you ought to try with" and ended it there. Try with what?
Administrators Hervé Posted April 25, 2018 Administrators Share Posted April 25, 2018 Clearly, I was referring to iGPU id faking + Capri layout id, as suggested in a previous post above.
gtown
I tried that many times with multiple Fake ID's and ig-platform id's. I can't get it to work right. Do you know a specific one that I can try that will work?
Administrators Bronxteck Posted April 25, 2018 Administrators Share Posted April 25, 2018 the ACPI section has 2 pages you only showed one the intel graphics is in the second page not in drop oem section like in your pic
Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 25, 2018 Moderators Share Posted April 25, 2018 Easier if you just attach the Config file for review...than screenshots
