tinDell
Thanks a lot! It can reboot now. I think it is ready to update to Catalina. Btw, do you have suggestion to improve battery life? I think it's shorter than windows.
Lego
@tinDell I saw this post and you having some trouble installing Catalina on your Dell Latitude E5470 and decided to upload a particular BootPack for macOS Catalina. It is titled for E5570 but it should work for the E5470. I hope this works for you to install Catalina on your dell laptop. Lego
I just realized you had success with you laptop. If you do end up having other troubles, this BootPack will work in conjunction with the Dell DW1820a wifi card if you have it, bluetooth, and sound. P!Nh00fD
Hi Owen, This bootpack is perhaps just what I'm looking for, have Catalina running on my Latitude E5570, but issues wit WiFi. I had a Intel card, but replaced this with a DW1820a that I had in an other Latitude. Is there a manual I can follow, so I know what to do with the bootpack? Thnx in advance. AJ. Administrators Hervé Posted December 21, 2019 Administrators Share Posted December 21, 2019 Obviously you replace the files you have in your Clover EFI folder by those provided in the proven bootpack.
P!Nh00fD
Unfortunately the bootpack doesn't work, created installer usb and replaced the dirs an config.plist. Laptop starts booting, see the apple logo and the the parking ban sign en then nothing. Any ideas?

Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 5, 2020 Moderators Share Posted April 5, 2020 @oli121 It's 2 posts up. All you need to do is install Clover loader and then replace the Clover folder with the one above.
