denkteich
Hi all, does anybody have an opencore EFI folder for an E5580 (i5 7th gen./M.2)? I tried creating it step by step using the opencore doc, but it always stuck on boot. TIA cheers .d
Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 20, 2021 Moderators Share Posted October 20, 2021 Give this a try USB ports might not be accurate, so you'll need to generate your own if this boots Post error if it hangs or loop Latitude 5580 OC 0.7.4.zip

Administrators Hervé Posted October 21, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 21, 2021 You'll probably have to play with your KBL framebuffer layout and SMBIOS. Bear in mind that Dortania's documentation is of great help but not 100% accurate. Posting your system's specs or adding them in signature would help too. denkteich
Hi Hervé, I tried to look it up with the service tag on the dell site. There is no entry for the GPU. Any other way to find out which one is built in? TIA .d
Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 21, 2021 Moderators Share Posted October 21, 2021 does your system have a discrete graphics card? Look up your CPU in Intel site, will get info of what graphics you have...HD620 or HD630
Administrators Hervé Posted October 21, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 21, 2021 The BIOS Info page should provide your hardware specs. If you know your CPU model, you can look it up on Intel ARK's site and get all its specs including iGPU. If you're unable to identify your exact CPU model (but I doubt it), there are various tools you can use for that very purpose.
