Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 7, 2021 Moderators Share Posted November 7, 2021 go to the bios, add new boot Option Name it OC or OpenCore or MacOS, whatever you like Point it to /EFI/OC/OpenCore.efi. Move it to the top of the list Save and reboot

Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 8, 2021 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2021 By adding the Boot option, does it boot to the OC picker? Where does the issue start?
denkteich
OC picker is not shown. The issue started during the reboots of the installation. just tried to boot from a windows installation usb stick, it works. so it does not look like a general hardware problem. Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 9, 2021 Moderators Share Posted November 9, 2021 could be a hard disk issue, MacOS unsupported

denkteich
any suggestion what this issue can be?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 11, 2021 Moderators Share Posted November 11, 2021 check the bios, make sure there's no other OC boot option. Create one only to point to /EFI/OC/opencore.efi
Administrators Bronxteck Posted November 12, 2021 Administrators Share Posted November 12, 2021 opencore has added an nvme driver maybe it will hook earlier in the bios then the kext. it is called NvmExpressDxe.efi you would also have to declare it in the config file
