Administrators Hervé Posted April 11, 2023 Administrators Share Posted April 11, 2023 You should be able to get the brightness keys working by applying the ACPI patches described in the thread dedicated to that matter in our Technical info/R&D section. 'don't understand your issue. Won't work, no support for this type of hardware in macOS.
Santiago93
Well, I couldn't do anything for the brightness keys, but my audio only works with headphones, my audio model is ALC3254, I read that the ALC295 layouts work
Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 15, 2023 Moderators Share Posted April 15, 2023 try switching to layout-id = 77 if still not working, then try 3, 13, or
Santiago93
ok, i tried them all and the only one that gave audio on the laptop speakers and headphones was the layout 77, but only if i don't plug it in fully and it makes strange noises like it has interference. Santiago93
OMG it's working thanks Now I have two problems that I have not been able to solve: 1. The touchpad with multi-gestures. But the buttons only work if your finger is pressing the touchpad. 2. The brightness keys on the screen, I could not solve it with the guide that was provided above I am currently running Monterey EFI folder: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1egVqlXu_ztMTr4Het3wVT7lW-3QACIP6/view?usp=sharing
