alexmathayes
EDP stands for Extra Driver Package... it is a repository/Postinstaller of working configurations of latitude models. so it fills the shoes of the problems your experiencing. try it we just released 1.9 today. just DO NOT USE Applebattery for battery option during build for lion. also VoodooHDA will give you KP on boot once in a while. the devs are working to find a solution for theses issues. Yeah I just used EDP 1.9 on my Dell Latitude D610 with NVIDA graphics..... I can confirm that the following are working flawlessly: 1) Audio 2) Trackpad 3) Keyboard But I still can't figure out a way to get the ethernet & wireless to work. Another problem that I'm facing is that the about screen shows wrong model for the NVIDIA... not that its really a big problem but, I would want to install the correct driver for it. Any suggestions on how to get the ethernet and wireless working using EDP 1.
Agrerald
What wifi card do you have? If its a broadcom that not supported anymore use IO80211Family.kext from 10.6.8 or 10.6.7 and broadcomfix.kext

You need to boot in 32-bit because in 64-bit you don't have QE/CI because there are no 64-bits kexts for intel GMA 950. Just add arch=i386 to your org.chameleon.boot.plist and restart

Zeppo
thanks for all your help, guys. Now, I'm wondering how I can get rid of the prompt for a bluetooth keyboard. Are you getting it more than on the first install? I installed Lion several times and it only asked me once, immediately after the installation and never again. Well, one way is turning your Bluetooth off completely (in BIOS). The other is to remove the bluetooth keyboard out Bluetooth menue in Preference Panel.
