rosnoun
For the ACPI clover conf, you can uncheck everything. The needed mods are added to the dsdt, clover patch aren't required so far. We are still trying to fix the usb dead after sleep. It's a tricky one but if anyone want to contribute he is more than welcome

bd4utonite2
Did you remove the appleintelhdgraphics from S/L/E as proposed in the guide? Boot in single user and type : mount - uw / cd /System/Library/Extensions rm -rf AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext rm -rf AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext sudo rm -rf /System/Library/Caches/* shutdown -r now Hi Rosnoun. Thanks for that. I formatted the internal hd again and forgot to delete the AppleHD stuff as suggested by you above.. My bad. It's now working and I can get into the setup of Yosemite. My journey continues as I try to install the rest of the instructions... Thanks
bd4utonite2
Follow the steps carefully, also the NOTEs, as mentioned by rosnoun too. For me it was not necessary but give a try to inject EDID as i believe that´s all about graphics related issues. OSX: ioreg -l | grep IODisplayEDID http://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration/Graphics#InjectEDID Windows: http://www.hackintoshosx.com/topic/20664-guide-edid-injection/ Hi Calabash.. Wow that is too deep for me.. as I am a newbie. Anyways, took Rosnoun's advice and it worked. Glad to see that you changed the documentation about the OLD/NEW way in the ACPI FYI... i could never boot the USB Thumdrive for install to the HD with all the fixes in the ACPI (default during install of clover) selected. So I de-selected them all in Old and New way. I will now try the rest of your instructions and see how I go.. Thanks...
bd4utonite2
Hi Calabash, Post Install of the Patch QE/CI Acceleration with Clover on-the-fly did not work for me... I have a 1280x800 screen. May I ask... do you put all the entries in the Patched_FB.tiff? In your note you said SingleLink, Normal, LW1 worked for you. This is only 3 entries compared to what was shown in the tiff file. I also saw from Cooper1 but his instructions are not clear... you cannot go into the post install without first deleting the 2 Graphics kexts that you suggested. BTW... how do one repair permissions and rebuild kexts on the desktop? Thanks again...
bd4utonite2
Hi Calabash.. I am using the native resolution of 1280x800....
bd4utonite2
Hi Calabash.. Got QE/CI working.... I am stuck in audio with editing the config.plist directly. Where do you put those entries... For me I put it right at the end [before the last </dict>] and it did not work for me. I install the original AppleHDA.kext and DummyHDA.ket and repair the permissions and rebuild the kext. On the next boot I get a greyed out speaker on the top menu bar. I think your edits are correct but I think i am putting it in the wrong place. Can you share your config.plist for the sound and sound spamming in your thread? Thanks
rosnoun
You shall place them in the kext patches section. The config.plist attached to the tutorial already contain these patches. You can use it. Just remove the trim patch if you are not using ssd drive
bd4utonite2
Hi rosnoun, You mean inside the <array></array>. That would make sense. I cannot find the config.plist file that is attached to the tutorial? What thread # is it? Thanks for the reply.....
