Bluetooth Firmware Uploader

I'm on OS X 10.10.3 (second update), and I tried to update to BTFirmwareUploader v2.8, but it randomly works. Sometimes it works just fine, sometimes it doesn't and bluetooth is not available at all in that case. I reverted back to 2.7 with which I've no such issue.

When it does not work I've something like this in the log:

18/04/2015 08:51:57,000 kernel[0]: BTFirmwareUploader :: Device is Azurewave 4352HMB combo
18/04/2015 08:51:57,000 kernel[0]: BTFirmwareUploader :: Using device specific firmware v14 c5575
18/04/2015 08:51:57,000 kernel[0]: BTFirmwareUploader :: Started the upload of firmware (70103 bytes)...
18/04/2015 08:51:57,000 kernel[0]: BTFirmwareUploader :: Read event failed with a timeout
18/04/2015 08:51:57,000 kernel[0]: BTFirmwareUploader :: Read event failed with a timeout

Not that with 2.7 I noticed that the firmware uploaded size is different (70105 bytes with 2.7 vs 70103 bytes with 2.8) while the firmware version is exactly the same (v14 c5575)

and if I restart the computer, i'll never work again and the log will show nothing. I've to shutdown the computer completely , wait about 1 to 2 minutes and turn it on again to expect BT to work again.

Attached find my IORegistryExplorer v2.1 extract (extracted when using working 2.7 version):

Hello EMlyDinEsH and all thread members. My warm thanks again to you and your work, EMlyDinEsH.

Just to report that I updated 10.9.5 to the latest Security Update and it seems BTFirmwareUploader_v2.8_Final seems broken. I do not have BT detected by my system at all... I saw it with a broken "B" icon on the menu bar (on the right).

Using the (Azurewave CE123H) Broadcom Corporation BCM4352 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter [14e4:43b1] which was working without any modification to the v2.8 kext (e.g. IDs or firmware version etc.)

I have no clue as to what could be going wrong. Your advice is welcome... My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-Z87N-WIFI.

Thank you all.

UPDATE: I tried v2.7 final, no luck either. In System Information, the kext is not loaded at all... other non-signed kexts like LAN or HWSensors load well.

I'm using the latest version of Clover and booting from a USB stick.

I installed your kext into /S/L/E with kext wizard.

PM sent with a dropbox link. Let me know if you can't access it.

Thanks!

I did not receive it.

the kext does not always work on 10.10.3. Maybe a recompiled kext?

I have new update to address this problem, so please PM me for testing.

Hello.

I installed the final 2.8 version. My bluetooth is now said to be "Connectable" in system information, before installing the kext it is a "no".

However, my the mac is still not detected nor detecting any device. I think it's because my Product ID is not listed.

It is AR3012 VID: 04ca PID: 3005

Please help me with the kext. Thanks

UPDATE:

Managed to add my device to the plist. Now it detects and successfully paired with my phone.

But after seconds it starts to show that it's not connected. It won't share internet connection too. Any suggestions?
