quantumFoam
Yeah, I was pretty sure I got the pack for 1440x900 but I will double check and re-apply. Is it typically necessary to run MyFix afterwards? Also, I was under the impression that USBBusFix was off by default, is that what I want? Administrators Hervé Posted December 31, 2012 Administrators Share Posted December 31, 2012 I found that option "USBBusFix=No" is typically required to avoid Keyboard issue when installing Lion. It's not off by default as far as I'm concerned: check your boot plist file...

Administrators Bronxteck Posted January 2, 2013 Administrators Share Posted January 2, 2013 remove the voodoops2 kext from the installer Extra/Extentions folder since you have a usb keyboard and mouse then run a myfix.

Administrators Bronxteck Posted January 3, 2013 Administrators Share Posted January 3, 2013 repair your disk permissions with disk utility sometimes moving the nub on the middle of the keyboard helps.
456952
I believe that I forgot to mention that whenever I go into EDP it starts typing "^[0C" repeatedly of its own accord so I doubt it has to do with the nub Disk permissions doesn't do anything and my Extra Folder seems to have to PS/2 related kexts. it has AppleACPIPS2Nub.Kext and ApplePS2Controller.kext thanks for all your help guys
Administrators Hervé Posted January 3, 2013 Administrators Share Posted January 3, 2013 I've had that before, but can't remember what got me to that stage. Strange key combinations or messing up with EDP? Can't say. I think I ended up with a re-install...
