sjwgator
try adding the resolution.dylid module using chameleon wizard and see it that helps with resolution. I looked at the Modules section in the Chameleon Wizard this morning. Resolution.dylib is already checked. Any other ideas?
v3ct0r
Can you get it to work under Windows/another OS? Also, what happens when you connect the second display through DVI only? Not VGA?
sjwgator
This was a Windows 7 machine and was working on both displays with Windows. I had the second monitor connected via DVI only to start. Then I tried VGA. Neither worked. Also, I just checked the bdmesg section in Chameleon Wizard and I noticed this: Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/Extra/modules/._Keylayout.dylib] 177 bytes. Invalid mach magic 0x7160500 WARNING: Unable to start ._Keylayout.dylib Read HFS+ file: [hd(0,2)/Extra/modules/._Resolution.dylib] 177 bytes. v3ct0r
Try taking out the Resolution.dylib (back it up to the desktop or somewhere else first) and editing the org.chameleon.boot.plist to reflect the resolution you want...
npolite
I followed Patel's guide and haven't been able to get past the boot screen unless I run -x, problem is that MyHack won't run in safe mode. When booting from the USB I am stuck at waitForSystemMapper I also have an Nvidia card. Any help would be appreciated

sjwgator
OK, I tried something new with my DVI ports. Let's call them DVI1 and DVI2 and they are connected to Monitor1 and Monitor2 (identical models) respectively in a docking station. I plugged in DVI1 and booted my E6410. Obviously, Monitor1 came on. Then I tried plugging in DVI2 and still nothing. I shutdown and this time plugged in DVI2 and booted my E6410. This time Monitor2 came on. I tried plugging in DVI1, but Monitor1 did not come on. Any thoughts on that? Does that mean that the hackintosh can only see one monitor at a time? And the resolution still won't adjust. Seems like I've tried a lot of different combinations with Chameleon Wizard with the same results. Maybe there's a combination I'm not trying? Thanks for all the help so far! Hopefully I can get this working soon!
