Refined ALPS TouchPad driver

With lastest RC, trackstick still operates same way as reported with previous versions. Once trackstick is used, TouchPad dies.

 

Happy to (re)test bpedman's driver if you can remind me which one.

 

Edit: TouchPad actually randomly dies after a few minutes.

Hi, Dr.hurt. There are some problem on my hackintosh. My touchpad is alps v5( dmesg: ALPS: Found a V5 Dolphin touchpad with ID: E7=0x73 0x03 0x50, EC=0x73 0x02 0x02)I used any kext supported my touchpad, but no one can make it work with the preference. Some enable hardware without preference, some work the preference without the hardware. Could you help me? There is the information I picked up.

If you're talking about system preferences, it doesn't work on sierra. It's a known issue with the base PS2 driver which RehabMan said he'll look into once the sierra source is released.
 
Nice to see someone with a V5 here. Is it working with the Release 4 RC?

Release 4 RC2:

 

- Updated flag0 & mask0 for V5 Dolphin. Should work now.

- Added DualPoint flag to Rushmore (hoping to fix the trackstick!!!).

Nope. The v5 touchpad didn't work. Maybe there are some bugs in the serria. The dmesg shows the driver of alps started.

Does this mean my Trackpad is a version 7 Alps, If so is it supported?

If it isn't could you add my ID in version so I can test ?
