Dr. Hurt
Does the trackstick with the RC? (before killing the touchpad) Did bpedman's version work well with trackstick?
Administrators Hervé Posted October 11, 2016 Administrators Share Posted October 11, 2016 With lastest RC, trackstick still operates same way as reported with previous versions. Once trackstick is used, TouchPad dies. Happy to (re)test bpedman's driver if you can remind me which one. Edit: TouchPad actually randomly dies after a few minutes. kitkim
Hi, Dr.hurt. There are some problem on my hackintosh. My touchpad is alps v5( dmesg: ALPS: Found a V5 Dolphin touchpad with ID: E7=0x73 0x03 0x50, EC=0x73 0x02 0x02)I used any kext supported my touchpad, but no one can make it work with the preference. Some enable hardware without preference, some work the preference without the hardware. Could you help me? There is the information I picked up. Dr. Hurt
If you're talking about system preferences, it doesn't work on sierra. It's a known issue with the base PS2 driver which RehabMan said he'll look into once the sierra source is released. Nice to see someone with a V5 here. Is it working with the Release 4 RC? kitkim
The Release 4 Rc can make the system preference work, but can't make the hardware of touchpad work. I don't know why.

Should work now. - Added DualPoint flag to Rushmore (hoping to fix the trackstick!!!). Nope. The v5 touchpad didn't work. Maybe there are some bugs in the serria. Dr. Hurt
V7 is not supported yet. Not as easy as adding a device id.
