glebanych
Hi. I have the same laptop. Changed the wifi+bt to Dell DW1560. When I try to install El Capitan, my laptop just reboots on Apple logo. When I use verbose mode, I got this: Any suggestions?

glebanych
Hi. Seems like install media was corrupted. Now I have installed 10.11.6, but can't make a first boot.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 26, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 26, 2016 Did you set the DVMT to 96MB (0x03)?
glebanych
Yes, and I have installed Sierra beta couple hours ago. Graphic card was working fine, and shown correctly under info (HD 5550, 1536 Mb).

Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 27, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 27, 2016 check DVMT again, make sure it didn't revert back to 0x01 or 0x02 it's definitely not loading your graphics
glebanych
Checked, DVMT looks fine. I googled and discovered that "Waiting for DSMOS" followed by Bluetooth-related warning caused by FakeSMC not loaded. Could it be that? I have FakeSMC.kext in .../10.11 UPDATE: Ok, 10.11.6 finally boots. Wifi and battery status work fine. Unfortunately no USBs, Bluetooth, camera, brightness control, audio I used the kexts from the first post of this thread, but no luck UPDATE 2: Almost everything fixed. The only thing that doesn't work is audio
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 27, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 27, 2016 How did you manage to fix the boot issue? For audio, did you install codecCommander & AppleHDA_ALC255 to /L/E and repair permission and rebuild cache?
