you have to find out who is the manufacturer of the trackpad if its ALPS search the forum for one if its synaptics try rehabman ps2 if other search forum for dinesh appleps2 

 

thats why Jake asked you for this info in post 3.

" Keyboard : Dell™ Chiclet Keyboard with Multi-touch Touchpad (English)" that does not say who really makes the hardware
 
and before you start asking why your wifi is not working
"Wireless : Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2230, 802.11b/g/n + BT4.0"
is not supported by MacOS lol.

Check the syslog for ALPS touchpad. From Terminal, type log show | grep ALPS. If you have an ALPS touchpad, it'll say so and its version will be displayed.

 

If you still have Windows, you can also check the details of the driver in Device Manager.
