  1. VoodooHDA is not a good choice, you'll lose HDMI audio. Restore AppleHDA.kext to /S/L/E Remove AppleHDA_ALC292.kext from /L/E Add AppleALC.kext to /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other Change layout-id (Inject) from 1 to 12 in the Config file under Devices/Audio Repair permissions and rebuild cache
  2. which OS X did you end up installing? what changes did you make before this happened? post the Clover folder for review
  3. first off, looks like you have VoodooI2C.kext and VoodooI2CHID.kext in 3 locations: /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other /L/E /S/L/E Remove them from /S/L/E and /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other Repair permissions and rebuild cache
  4. Known issue for years. I had this posted in my Clover guide Notes3: To prevent artifacts with HD 4000, the following models should not exceed BIOS A11. Downgrade to A02/A03 and then upgrade to A11 if it has exceeded: E6x30, E5x30
  5. For the SSDTs, you just need to rename GFX0 to IGPU, rename B0D3 to HDAU, and rename _DSM to XDSM, but all these could be done via Config

  7. Use MacKextLite Drag VoodooPS2Controller to the left pane. Now select info.plist VoodooTrackpad.kext/contents On the right, search for FingerZ Change the value until you have it to your liking. You'll need to save, reboot and test it after each change.
  8. Probably better to just reinstall on top if you could still boot with the USB installer. Don't format, just install on top.

  10. what error did you get when you boot with USB and then selecting the SSD? Copying the kexts to /L/E should not cause that error.

  12. Ok, try this Replace these into /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched 5558_A15.zip
  13. Under DSDT, you should be able to select BIOS.aml

Try going into Options when you see the Clover loader, use the right arrow to navigate Select ACPI patching-> Tables Dropping-> Go all the way down and deselect Drop all OEM SSDT Check all the Drop "SSDT-xx" below that Select Return Change DSDT name: BIOS.aml or anything other than DSDT.aml Select Return, Return Hit spacebar to select Verbose mode + debug 0x100 mode

  17. Try removing SSDT-0, SSDT-3 and SSDT-4 from /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched

  19. Yes, replace the whole EFI folder, NOT merge Set BIOS to Load Default. Apply Then go back and set it to UEFI AHCI Legacy Option ROMs enabled secure Boot disabled CPU XD Support enabled Then try booting again
  20. Ok, replace your EFI folder with this and then add the attached files into /EFI/Clover 5558_A15_HD4400.zip
  21. Inside the EFI folder is the Clover folder, I need that. Don't need the entire EFI
  22. Ok, reboot with USB on the 5558, at the Clover GUI, press F2 and then F4. Now turn off. Mount the USB on you VM Use Clover Configurator or EFI Mounterv3, to mount the EFI partition of the USB. Both app can be found here Compress and attach the Clover folder here for review
