  1. Made a couple of changes to your DSDT, see if touchpad works. If not, try replacing VoodooPS2Controller with the attached VoodooPS2Controller.kext.zip DSDT.aml
  2. Yes, but some might not and need additional patch. What brand is your NVMe drive?
  3. The files you're using is not for the touchscreen model probably. Replace the Config.plist in /EFI/Clover Replace the DSDT/SSDT in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched From the attachment here
  4. I said to install over it, not clean install. Anyway, from the generic EFI folder, copy HFSPlus.efi from Clover/drivers64UEFI to the same directory in the EFI partition If you want the Latitude theme, just copy the Latitude folder from the themes folder over to the same theme folder in the EFI partition.
  5. Did you install Clover to the SSD? Reboot with the USB installer, select the installed drive. Once you get to the desktop, install Clover, copy the EFI folder to the installed drive from the USB
  6. Sorry I haven't updated those files. Go ahead and install latest Clover over it to update the files and try again. I'll update that soon, but those files should work fine if your MacOS is 10.1.3.3 and older.
  7. The files in /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI are data 2/09/2018 so it does not reflect the latest Clover 4439 which should show today's date. Do you have UEFI and AHCI set in the BIOS?
  8. If you're installing HS 10.13.4, you'll need the latest Clover (minimum 4428).
  9. SSDT-PNLF.aml is for Brightness. The generated SSDT.aml goes in ~/Library/ssdtPRGen You'll have to manually copy it to /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched
  10. follow steps 7 and 8 of post install
  11. The recommended cards are DW1560 and DW1830, not DW1820A
  12. Follow post installation from guide here https://osxlatitude.com/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-precision-vostro-xps-clover-guide/
  13. Add HFSPlus.efi to /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI
  14. Use this bootpack, goes into /EFI/Clover
  15. sounds like a bad USB installer. Try another USB drive
  16. set BIOS to: 1 XHCi hand off = Enable 2. VT-D = Disabled
  17. It's Fn+F3 & Fn+Insert to control brightness. If it's not working, then you might just need to repair permission and rebuild cache
  18. Hmmm, though the hot patch for HDMI is set in the Config, but it's not reflecting in the IOReg. Try this, in /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other, remove IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext and AppleALC.kext Add AppleHDA_ALC292.kext to /L/E Run the permission.sh again. Look in the output, make sure you see AppleHDA_ALC292.kext in the cache If not, run it again until you see it. Reboot, check again for HDMI audio AppleHDA_ALC292.kext.zip
  19. Follow instructions from here to debug issue gen_debug -sysprofile
  20. Under Sound preference, do you see the option to switch to HDMI audio? It's not automatic
  21. Can you please just edit your post with new findings instead of new posts? Did you do the post install? 7. Copy kexts from /EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other/LE to /Library/Extensions Repair permission and rebuild cache Use the permission.sh script to do the above To control brightness, use Fn+F3 and Fn+Insert You could try installing Karabiner-Elements app to reset the Fn key
  22. Follow staller guide here and use this bootpack, goes into /EFI/Clover E6440_HD4600_Only_A21.zip
  23. Seems Chameleon is too difficult for you and I'm no expert with it. I stopped using it since Yosemite or El Capitan. Why don't you open up a new thread for Clover and I'll assist you there.
  24. Let's try to get this working before we try starting a different process. Once you get this running, you could easily convert it to Clover by install Clover on top of it. Unless you have another drive to play with...we could start a new thread for Clover and change the topic of this to Chameleon.
