  1. There could be many reasons for restart depending on the hardware / OS X you're installing. 1) Haswell - XCPM early reboot 2) High Sierra FixHeaders 3) ACPI Patching etc... Boot with verbose + debug 0x100 mode to help determine the KP / reboot issue
  2. You are not booting from that bootpack. It's showing MBP8,1, the bootpack has SMBIOS set to MBP8,2 Check if you have an EFI folder on the root of your installer.
  3. Try replacing bootpack with this, goes into /EFI/Clover, overwrite your existing. Worked on HS, so it should work on Sierra as well E6420_Disabled-NVS_HS.zip
  4. Add the bootpack for your model found in post #2. Files go into /EFI/Clover Now installer is ready
  5. It's ok, don't need it. Replace contents into /EFI/clover/ACPI/Patched. Keep SSDT-PNLF.aml in there e7450_eilatuno.zip
  6. Brightness Control is with F11 and F12, not Fn+F11 and Fn+F12 Does audio control work with FF1, F2 and F3 or with Fn+F1...etc
  7. You need to use beta version of ssdPRGen.sh to generate SSDT.aml for the system
  8. Try resetting your BIOS to loading Default. Apply. Then go back and change to AHCI
  9. Boot to Clover GUI, hit F4. Then compress and attach /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin here for patching. What version of BIOS are you on?

  11. You need to enable FixHeaders in your Config.plist file, known issue on HS.
  12. Not removed, but new CC moved it to the bottom next to "AutoMerge". I guess you'll need to use latest Clover 4438 to sync with latest CC 4.61 You do use AppleBacklightInjectoer.kext, it shows in your kexcache.log
  13. Replace with this Config. Rename to Config.plist Add HDMI audio patch and should fix the Brightness Fn too config-HDMI.plist
  14. did you follow veedub89's post? You'll need to enable Optimus in the BIOS
  15. that should be supported natively on HS. on Diskutil, click on show all devices, see if it shows up. If not, it might need to be initialized first either from windows or linux.
  16. Running this will fix the error. what SNB layout-id are you trying to change? NVM, got it. Try attached DSDT DSDT.aml
  17. Are you on the latest Clover and have FixHeaders enabled in the Config file?
  18. Go with DW1830, DW1820 not fully supported. send new debug if you need more help with Fn keys.
  19. HDMI video or audio? Try adding this to kextToPatch for HDMI in Config file Card reader not supported yet. attach the debug with the HDMI monitor attached
  20. add SSDT-ALC256.aml to /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched and CodecCommander to /L/E Repair permission and rebuild cache Note: you'll have to add SSDT-ALC256.aml to the SSDT sortedOrder in the Config file That's for sound but as far as touchpad after sleep, I don't have a fix. Seeker_pl might have to chime in if he's having the same issue. CodecCommander.kext.zip SSDT-ALC256.aml

  24. Hmm, ok. Try this. Replace Config and place all DSDT/SSDT into /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched 7480.zip
