Post your Clover folder for review

To fix headphone static noise Add CodecCommander to /Library/Extensions Repair permission and rebuild cache To add SDCard reader, run attached DPCI and post output here dspci To determine which ethernet kext you actually need since you have 3-4 of them install, run IORegistryExplorer and save it here for review IORegistryExplorer.app.zip
-
try this Config.plist Remove NullCPUPowerManagement, and add AppleALC.kext & IntelMausiEthernet.kext to /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other AppleALC for native audio, you'll need to remove VoodooHDA.kext & AppleHDADisabler.kext IntelMausiEthernet for Ethernet AppleALC.kext.zip config.plist IntelMausiEthernet.kext.zip
-
You could also disable it in Clover assuming kext is in Clover/kexts Hit spacebar -> Block injected Kexts Select the Folder where kext(s) resides ( Other, 10.13, 10.12…etc) Select kext(s) to be disabled Go back to main menu and boot with selected option Remove it once you're able to get to the desktop.

Dell Latitude 7480 - High Sierra: Any how-to?
Jake Lo replied to mariolasagna's topic in The Archive
High Sierra Clover vanilla guide, use attach as bootpack. Here is all the updates that's done to 7480 so far, all put together. Place contents into /EFI/Clover, overwrite them Kexts inside /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other/CopyTo/L/E is self explanatory, but if not, they are to be copy to /Library/Extensions of the install drive as post install. Not the Installer! Repair permissions and rebuild cache. Reboot Make sure to be on latest Clover v4439 (at time of writing this). Intel Wireless is not supported. Bootpack include patches and kexts for DW1560 or DW1830 (supported cards). 7480_HS_10.13.4.zip -
Did you remove VoodooPS2Controller first and place ApplePS2Smarttouchpad in /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other?

I haven't touch that system for awhile, maybe when I have more time this weekend. Don't you have it running already here?

Try rebuilding the USB installer and reInstall

You need to have both UEFI and Legacy Option ROMS enabled in the BIOS

[FIXED] Help to install Sierra on E5520 with Legacy Clover
Jake Lo replied to dpw95's topic in The Archive
Try mounting using Clover Configurator -
Wireless too?
-
Hmm, looks like you're using AppleALC and not AppleHDA_ALC293.kext ( remove it from /L/E) Replace Confg and add AirportBrcmFixup + Lilu to Clover kext Lilu.kext.zip config.plist AirportBrcmFixup.kext.zip
-
You got a discrete card, try spoofing it with this SSDT to /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched and enable "AutoMerge" in Config file. Also try adding IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext to Clover kext SSDT-discreteSpoof.aml IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext.zip
-
You're not using the alternative bootpack. Notice the SSDT-14.aml? That's only available in the regular bootpack, alternative has SSDT-13.aml Anyway, patched your files. Replace the Config file to /EFI/Clover and DSDT/SSDT to /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched (Replace all, not merge) e7470_liemhatang.zip

Sorry, misread it, long nite.... Just checked your Clover folder. Files in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin are dated April 9th. I don't think you have the DW1560 installed then. So patching those files will be useless. Can you clear that folder, reboot to Clover. Hit F4 again to extract new files. Compress and attach only the Origin folder here
-
Just enable "HWPEnable" instead for Skylake and above system under CPU in the Config file
-
Follow the brightness Control here
-
@vrebatta816, though NVMe is natively supported in HS, it introduces different hardware to your system which means I might have to re-patch the DSDT/SSDT again.
-
Ok, replace the Config to /EFI/Clover with the attached and replace the DSDT/SSDT into /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched E5550_A19.zip
-
F4 did extract the files to Origin but one of the SSDT is corrupted. Probably give it a couple of seconds to fully extract. Go to /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin, clear the folder. Reboot it and hit F4 again. Compress and attach only the Origin folder here Is A15 the latest? If you plan on upgrading to the latest BIOS, do so first before sending me the Origin folder.

E6420 (NVS 4200M) Sierra not booting properly
Jake Lo replied to TheRobster5555's topic in The Archive
Yes, I already updated to A25 with no issue. -
It should work, if not, I'll just have to repatch the DSDT/SSDT when you get the DW1830.
-
Before doing anything, have a bootable USB installer ready incase of issue. You need to upgrade to latest Clover first, reboot and see if it still boots. Then upgrade to the latest E7440 bootpack capable of High Sierra, reboot and see if it'll boot. Copy your serial # and such if you have it working for iMessage...etc Then you could upgrade directly to High Sierra. Side note, if you want to keep HFS+ format, you'll need to run the installation from the terminal with commands to skip APFS conversion. See here under upgrade section
