  1. You can find some USB wireless devices here that's been tested to work.
  2. Sorry if this response is a little late, but it might help others reading this. The DSDT was already patched to disable the Nvidia and include the patch for HD 4000. I just notice the bootpack from the guide is for 10.9 which include a patched FB. If you're installing with 10.9.4 or 10.9.5, you'll lose QE/CI with the included FB patched for HDMI. You'll need a new patched FB. I have the issue for my E6430 with HD 4000. Restore with the vanilla kext and you should have QE/CI again but without HDMI audio. Let me know which version of Mavericks you're installing and I'll patch it for you. Note: not sure why the author install kexts to S/L/E rather than in E/E since he's using myHack method but I can validate that you could install all the patched kext to E/E and run myHack/myFix (quick) without an issue.
  3. Try this one here. Might have to change the layout-id.
  4. You'll have to replace/add some of the kexts, change smbios, change Chameleon boot flag, DSDT/SSDT need to be changed/add to match the new hardware.
  5. I looked through the files from your link. Config.plist and DSDT.aml, neither has dualLink set, so not sure why you'll have 4 screens. Perhaps it's from your SSDT or SSDT-1, do you have that?
  6. That's how I have mine setup too!
  7. QE/CI issue, you have to skip this step 14 - Kexts > Graphics > HD4400/4600 DP/HDMI Freeze It only work up to 10.9.3. You need to restore the original version. It should be in your desktop/kexts backup Use kextwizard to install it back to SLE. You'll lose HDMI capability but gain QE/CI. Edit: Guide updated
  8. Did you try the one I attached above? It's for Acer V5-471G Place it in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched/ replacing the one you have
  9. Is there anything under Video? For the E6520 and E6530, there's an option to enable/disable Optimus under Video. If not, I guess you'll need to disable nvidia with DSDT edits. I don't use Clover, but can you disable nvidia, and use IntelAzulFB=12 (HD 4400) in config.plist?
  10. Your graphics is not loading. Do you have optimus enabled or disabled?
  11. Download chameleon v2399 pkg and install it to OS X partition, that should fix it.
  12. If you want to keep it the way it is now, I think the only way to boot to OS X is to select F12 during boot and select Disk 1. Windows should be the default and won't see the OS X partition. Install Chameleon to Disk 1 to rid of the 'Invalid partition table' error.
  13. If you like to use HDMI to connect to external monitor, stick with 10.9.3 and use AppleIntelAzulFB from 10.9.1. I explained it in the update under the guide.
  14. 1. I guess I should rephrase it in the guide. What I meant was to complete the install, setting keyboard language, setting up username ...etc 2. Yes, I'm not able to get brightness working fully. Probably need to repatch DSDT with the right bar0/bar1 address (WIP) 3. iMessage - make sure you have FileNVRAM.dylib in /Extra/modules. Generate a unique smbios serial...see my signature below under iMessage with a fix. I read that you might have to enter a credit card number or call Apple as well 4. Keyboard layout - choose what works for you. There's an article here call remapping keyboard, search for it in the forum 5. Before upgrading your OS X, make sure you have the correct version of the kernel you're upgrading to. The haswell processor requires a patched kernel to fix the automatic reboot issue. More details here. I included the patched kernel so you don't have to patch it yourself, make sure to place it in /Extra before you upgrade, otherwise your system won't be able to boot and goes in rebooting loop. The default location of the vanilla kernel is on the root, you could patch that yourself you like or copy the patched kernel there but you'll have to change org.chameleon.boot.plist to point it there.
  15. Try repairing system cache sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel For Alan Touchpad, see here.
  16. You need to rename the kernel to mach_kernel or change it in o.c.b.p to read deekay_kernel. Try booting with deekay_kernel -v
  17. Looks like you have Mavericks on disk 1 and Windows on disk 0. What you can do is reverse the drive so that OS X is on disk 0. Install Chameleon to disk 0 where OS X resides to rid of the "invalid partition table." I don't remember you mentioning a kernel panic though, but post your result after this switch. If installing Chameleon from my hack does not resolve the "invalid partition table" error, then download chameleon v2395 pkg and install it to drive 0.
  18. Just download and overwrite the vanilla one on the root of the USB. It's included in Herve's guide linked above. You just have to read through it.
  19. Run myHack/myfix(quick) to fix the caching issue and you can eliminate the -f flag. With Chameleon Wizard, download the latest chameleon; Install Method, select Boot0md. In o.c.b.p, change to Instant Menu so you can pick which OS to boot from. In SmBios tab, generate a new serial so it'll be unique if you're using my boot pack. Have fun.
  20. You just need to generate an SSDT for your i5-4310u. You can use the DSDT from my boot pack. Click on E7440 link on my signature below.
  21. There's no patched kernel for Yosemite for Chameleon yet, but Clover has it if you want to go that route.
  22. Try this one. Might need HDAEnabler in boot.plist.
  23. Linked file is not good, but I found one elsewhere. See if this one works or you could compress yours and attached it here. dsdt.aml.zip
  24. Clone it and install on top. I have Mavericks on top of ML, all data intact and apps. Only some apps are not working, upgrading to newer version of the app fixed it though.
