  1. It does support all 3 developer previews of mountain lion. The issue is for whatever reason you have /Volumes/Mac OS X Base System/ mounted, or stuck there, and myhack was not able to unmount it, thus it was unable to mount the InstallESD and BaseSystem correctly and that is what caused the failure. Additionally I suspect based on what I see on your screen that you do not have a legitimate copy of mountain lion which migh also be a source of problems. If you do not have an apple developer account, you should not be attempting to run mountain lion until it is released publicly in the app store. I do not support or condone piracy.
  2. what I mean by just pull the plugin is reverse the process, open IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ and grab just the extension used for your network interface, put that in /e/e and remove the IONetworkingFamily.kext itself.
  3. Of course you can still use boot themes - just place one in /Extra/Themes/default - or another path under Themes and define it in the boot plist for example if you have /Extra/Themes/SomeTheme you would add the following to your org.chameleon.Boot.plist: Theme SomeTheme For sleep you need some things patched in your dsdt probably, also that IONetworkingFamily.kext is no longer required, just pull the plugin you need out of it, pop that in /Extra/Extensions/ and run myfix. Hope this answers your questions.
  4. Try to replace AppleACPIPlatform.kext with an older version as well.
  5. Did you run myfix after adding the extensions to /Extra/Extensions ?
  6. Read the troubleshooting section of the guide, it discusses npci flags - but also links to some IOPCIFamily kexts that netkas put together that may help you.
  7. Well simply put, I saw your post, saw that you were going to change the graphics, saw that you have not yet posted a dsdt and I decided to wait to hear back from you once you had adjusted your hardware. We will need you to get a nice clean dsdt.dsl for us to look at, and we'd need to know what you want to fix in it, if anything? I know of no dsdt patch that is going to help a system like yours off hand - your HD Audio device is AD1983HD sound chip according to the pci ids database - I know of nothing that will make that work natively, though VoodooHDA.kext might get it somewhat functional and is worth a shot, you might just be better off getting a usb audio device that works oob. You have no AHCI, and you haven't really told us what you'd like to patch in your dsdt or what you've done so far? So without these details, I don't think any of us are really sure exactly how to help you just yet...
