  1. Well I think you're right. I was convinced that if myHack used to put FakeSMC in E/E there was a reason for. So I kept doing it it that way. But If I understand well, FakeSMC and Plugins are meant to be in S/L/E rather than in E/E because of versions numbers alterations due to myHack ?
  2. Hello and thanks for the quick reply But I already know that HW Monitor installs the FakeSMC & Plugins directly in S/L/E when a myHack setup puts it in E/E by default. So everytime I have to deal with install/re-install/update FakeSMC, I double check that it is only in E/E and I systematically do a myFix Quick to set everything OK. But whatever, If I'm made no mistake, putting the FakeSMC.Kext & its plugins in E/E and running a myFix should automaticaly set it's version number to 1111 ? This way, it should be the newest one whatever other FakeSMC are installed and it should also be the only one to be loaded ? But it doesn't matter as I have just one FakeSMC and it's in E/E
  3. I tried every solutions you mentioned but none had success so far. I also tried the "myFix" myFix hack of myHack Here's the result of kextcache-prelinked-kernel (sorry for the long post) MacBook-Pro:~ vince$ sudo kextcache -prelinked-kernel Password: kext com.squirrels.driver.AirParrotSpeakers 108009000 is in exception list, allowing to load kext com.mice.driver.WirelessGamingReceiver 100001012 is in exception list, allowing to load kext com.mice.driver.Wireless360Controller 100001012 is in exception list, allowing to load kext com.realtek.driver.RTL8192CU 102100009000 is in exception list, allowing to load kext org.voodoo.driver.PS2Trackpad 111100009000 is in exception list, allowing to load kext org.voodoo.driver.VoodooHDA 111100009000 is in exception list, allowing to load WARNING - Invalid signature -67030 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA2A for kext "/System/Library/Extensions/myHack.kext/Contents/PlugIns/Patched_10.7_AppleRTC.kext" kext com.evosx86.driver.lspcidrv 111100009000 is in exception list, allowing to load LPCSensors.kext is not valid; omitting. There's clearly a problem with FakeSMC.kext and its plugins but after a re-install of it from Kozlek's FakeSMC & HW Sensors or just by updating HW Monitor and FakeSMC & Plugins, it's still the same. And as I said, even by running again the new myFix, the kernel/kext cache seems to be corrupted.
  4. I have the same exact problem on my Dell D830 Nvidia as described here. I did what's explain in the post to fix it but I still have the same issue at the next boot. I've check with ls -@l again et the attributes were clean but I still have to boot with -f AND UseKernelCache=No. Otherwise, the systems boots but stucks at the Gray Apple logo and the spinning wheel. I can access it via network or ssh but the UI doesn't load at all. I've noticed that this problem slowly begin to spread to all my myHack-based Hackintoshes (v 3.3.1 - re-downloaded twice) and I can't figure out why and when the issue come from. 5. Updated Ok to DP6. No major changes beside some GUI adjustments (but still this ugly Finder icon )
  6. D830 nVidia works fine and is very responsive with Yosemite Public Beta. Everything works fine so far ! (iTunes 12 is not included, you have to download it from the App Store)
  7. Problem solved thanks to Azzo94 ! http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298912-yosemite-dp2/page-2?do=findComment&comment=2033787
  8. I tried r2380 V3 (which is supposed to support DP2) and it's still the same. That's strange because I used Clover to boot right after reboot to complete the update and it's OK. I was thinking that once it was done, I could re-use Chameleon but there's still this bunch of errors. So something must have changed between DP1 and DP2.
  9. Correct, I've experienced it ! But trying to boot with Clover didn't fixed the problem… I'm re-installing from scratch and will update as soon as the DP1 install is over. Chameleon needs an update !
  10. Well, don't know if VoodooBattery works as System Preferences instantly uncheck the "show battery state box" as soon as I click it Are you using myHack.kext with Yosemite ? What's the purpose of lspcidrv.kext & CSRBluetoothHostControllerUSBTransport.kext ?
  11. Works fine with D830 nVidia and Chameleon bootloader. VoodooHDA 2.8.5 didn't worked for me so I used 2.8.4 and eveything's OK except for VoodooBattery.
  12. Ok, sorry, I was searching the dedicated thread and now I found it Thanks for help !
  13. So mine should be : 1.2f10 0120f00 0010 correct ? But i's also mentionned that using olders SMBios prior to MacBook Pro 4,1 is useless as they don't enable Speedstate so I'm wondering if I should modify it ?
  14. Hi ! Just a little question about the performance tunning guide. I'm running a Dell D830 nVidia Quadro NVS 135M with an Intel T7250 @ 2.0 Ghz and 2 Gb or RAM running Mavericks 10.9.3 and I'm willing to optimize it. So i've read the Performance tunning guide with FakeSMC & SMBios.plist and it seems that my laptop match a MacBook Pro 1,1 with 1.2f10 (SMC 1.0). My question is how to convert this value in PlistEditor Pro to modify the Data field like mentionned in the guide : "SMC version 1.30f3 which is displayed in Data field as 01300F00 0003" ? Thanks for help and congrats to the OSXlatitude crew which is doing a wonderful job on how to get OS X on PC !
  15. Hi Hervé, Indeed, the BSA Kernel r9 seems to have been released in December 2013 so months before the official announcement from Apple. Unfortunately, I have already updated to 10.9.2 and I'm not willing to re-install a 10.9.1. So I guess I'll wait till the next stable AMD kernel update is out. I can manage the cpus=1 issue for now, after all the systems is still very functional. Thanks for your support and happy Hackintoshing !
  16. It's the AMD 10.9/10.9.1/10.9.2 kernel UPDATE III with full sse4 support Version R9 found at OSX86.net.
  17. Yes of course double, triple check ! But after deeper searches, I've found out that the faulty drive was not the 500 GB but the 80 GB hosting OS X. Just removed it this afternoon and created a dual boot OS X/Windows 8.1 with boothfs and it seems OK so far. Though I still have to boot with cpus=1 which is really annoying but I didn't found a working fix for this.
  18. Hi everyone ! I have a strange problem. I've just installed 10.9 on my AMD Athlon 64 x2 2.0 Ghz 2 GB DDR2 RAM. I have 2 SATA drives, one of 80 GB for OS X and another one of 500 GB for Windows 8.1 / Data. Everythings works fine but for an unknown reason, sometimes the second 500 GB drive suddendly disappear from my desktop saying Ejecting Error, try to disconnect the drive by…etc, just as if it was an USB external drive. System Profiler detects it as a SATA drive, the icons aren't yellow, there's just like any normal drive and most of time, I can read/write on them without problems. I did a Time Machine backup without issues. First I thought that it was a Kext conflict between SuperVIAATA.kext and IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext or AHCI_3rdPartySata.kext but I tried to remove the two last of them and be able to boot fine (Removing SuperVIAATA.kext result as "still waiting for root device"). But the problem persist and I can't figure why ! The drive works fine on Windows and shows no errors, SMART state is reported as capable and OK and the 80 GB hosting OS X works fine as well. My desktop is a HP dc5750 with the latest BIOS (configure in Native IDE mode - no AHCI available) and beside this very anoying problem under OS X, it works fine. Any ideas ?
  19. Finally fix it ! (sort of…) It's the Nvidia chip that's malfunctionning. I used boot flag nv_disable=1 -f -v and Tadaaaaaa ! I'm now installing mavericks with myHack 3.3.1. With Windows 8.1, the graphic card driver was already unable to properly install and I should have suspected it from the beginning ! So My D830 is finally useless as I don't have a working LCD Screen, a working charging battery and las but not least, no 3D acceleration. What a Laptop ! Let's go to eBay to find a fully working D830
  20. Well, wifi is disabled and totally remove from the laptop but that's still the same… Pandora's installed but fails after some post-installation kexts that used to work from my precedent try, but QE/CI wasn't enabled too.
  21. It's disabled… I'll try to remove it completely and we'll see… BTW, I've tried with ML and its related bootpack and it still the same.
  22. As I said, the LCD screen of the D830 is dead so I've totally removed it and it's just plug via VGA outpout to an External LCD Screen. I think that's the reason why it doesn't recognize the resolution. I'll try to plug it to another LCD (or CRT) screen because the one I'm actually using is in fact a TV screen with VGA input built-in. But it doesn't explain why myHack fails where Pandora works (beside the fact that it doesn't provide QE/CI )
  23. Yeah I'm sure, Nvidia GeForce Quadro NVS 135 M with 128 Mb share memory.
  24. I've made another test on another setup and it DOES boot with boot flag GraphicsEnabler=No but not with the D830. Very strange, I'm going to redownload the bootpack and give another try but I'm pretty sure that the one I'm using isn't corrupted… the problem with Pendora's solution is that I'm not getting QE/CI support at all.
