  1. yeah there is an app called chameleon... you need to install it... you can check our wiki.
  2. did you check in bios for usb maybe need to turn on legacy...
  3. check in kexts section of forum there should be a d630 audio kext
  4. check the wiki... it should be there.
  5. your going to to run with -v chameleon option to see where it hangs
  6. not necessarily edp should take care of the extra folder... but where things get funky is with sleepenabler and upgrading osx or choosing not to upgrade... to be safe the latest edp should be used with the latest updates.. oh if you have leppy's disc then boot from the cd then choose your snow leopard partition then once booted run edp without sleepenabler you do not have to install leppys disc again, your just using it as a bootloader and make sure all os updates are done, itunes and safari can be done at any time so leave em for last or try this simple bootcd see if it works BootCDd620intel.iso.zip
  7. well what did you use to install osx? maybe that will get you booted up.
  8. you need to find the GeForce GO 7300 kext and put it in extra extensions then run edp with option 1 then option a then reboot. i have no clue about adjusting voltages
  9. it has stopped working for me since after rev. 760... just constant loop reboot.
  10. -x -v PmVersion=21 in chameleon prompt, or in -v -s (single user mode) remove the sleepenabler and nub...
  11. EDP 1.8 has 4 different options for trackpad on a new machine build, out of the 4 i believe slice has probably made 3 of those options. so if it's possible he will tell you...lol. just try the one that suits your needs best. it is difficult to have complete native features because of bus architecture new macs use usb bus as compared to older dells that use ps2 bus... which apple stopped supporting since probably early PPC days... heck come to think of it i have a 400mhz g4 PPC "sawtooth-agp" Mac-Pro and it uses usb. I hope that sort of makes sense or clarifies any thoughts.

    Hey

did you have to sacrifice a port or where you able to get a schematic to find IC pinouts to the usb hub controller?
  13. as for network on d430 leon might have answer or check wiki... from 10.6.0 to 10.6.3 you could just use combo update or as you stated install with 10.6.3 disk... for 10.6.7 you could put your 10.6.3 graphics kexts in E/E and run edp with option 1 then a rebuild from existing

  16. Hi, my d620 has intel graphics so i cant test this method... but if you feel like trying, this is what i would do... make sure you can recover before trying in case your install will not boot 1> save your video kexts before running edp from you existing extra folder. 2> run the edp version which worked for you. 3> after it finishes put the video kexts back in the extra folder 4> run edp tool again with option-1 (kexts) then option-a (rebuild from existing) then reboot. hopefully that will get it working for you and if it does let us know if it works... this method if working may be able to get your machine to a higher build Cheers!

  18. see if booting with -x -v PmVersion=21 in chameleon prompt helps you out
  19. check your usb's before and after wake, check if you get random bluetooth not recognized, check if you still have a cd/dvd rom on reboots
  20. yeah your bootloader is to old if your still using leppys install method install the chameleon thats in edp and try graphics enabler=yes
  21. no 1.8 does not have that fix
  22. oh damn sorry this post got away from me.. pt. use chameleon rc5 760 Fabio78 posted and edp 1.8 only problem is the battery part of edp 1.8 is not compatible we have a solution in 1.9. so you have to remove the kext after edp build (I chose voodoobattery option when building) from extra/ extensions then run edptool again choose option 1 kexts, then option a, (rebuild from existing)... i have not tried chameleon rev760 with the DP2 installer directly... i used a drive image of dp2. edit: ok it seems you need to boot with a proper smbios too, replace the one in extra. to install from an existing osx install. i used mackbook2,1 and a guide/journal partition its giving me an error on a hybrid guid/mbr partition but once installed you can image it over to a hybrid later for now just use guid smbios.plist.zip
  23. in the bios there are docking options try that and see if it helps your situation.
  24. if your still having issues with prefpanes go to the beginning of the edp 1.8 topic, theres a patch for prefs.
