  2. Slice i was getting a really bad lag on keyboard last night after updating to 10.6.7 i had to literaly wait a minute before i could see the text show up... almost like a tscsync symptom but the only thing affected was the keyboard... weird
  3. yep it's out, running it now.
  4. do you have a link to something to test with?
  5. nope works fine on D620... but not all latitudes work as well with the pcmcia.kext
  6. best way to do it... can always flash and update one while the other is running
  7. that's one of the reasons i have 2..
  8. Funny you mention that.. i have 2 wrt54g waiting in my ever growing pile of unfinished hacks pile mountain...lol maybe you should come over and feed that hunger... so much stuff so little time..
  9. well i have a D620 with gma950 and it works with lion so far. but in 64bit you don't get full resolution..
  10. Pssst... look hear.... http://www.osxlatitude.com/groups/d4xosx/wiki/e89c8/WWAN_in_OSX_on_Dell_Latitude_D420D430.html I'm surprised at you PT... lol..
  11. so far on 10.6.7 I have not noticed any major changes or major benefits from it but it does "feel" snappier then 10.6.6.. they have not changed the kernel (yet) so if it stays that way then we will be in the clear, EDP at 1.6 will function as normal... as for Lion, we are still having "technical difficulties" ... one is the bootloader's are in beta so there is no Extra directory support on the one that we tested on and the kexts have to be loaded in S/L/E. Another one is affecting certain wireless cards. even rebranded cards are not functioning even though you see them in IOreg. also not that many third party apps function correctly yet either. First day it works then when you least expect it BAM, it just errors out and thats it just won't work again. you can install it 100 times... nada. No battery icon yet, and no thermal control so cpu's run very hot 75*c so we are limited to the amount of time to work on it.
  12. you can try superduper or you can use timemachine or diskutility
  13. how about repairing disk permissions with disk utility? that can cause weird issues.
  14. I read there is a "top sites" bug that causes a similar issue. If the tab automatically opens "top sites" you get the bbod... The "fix" was not to have it do that. so maybe your "fix" is to remove it from the menu bar.
  15. have you tried resetting your wireless router or checking the configs of the router, see if there's a newer firmware update. also reset your cable/dsl modem.
  16. wow that's weird... Don't know where to go with that one other than try something other than safari... have you tried resetting safari and clearing catches?
  17. i guess your safari is corrupt for some reason... have you done all the up dates?
  18. im glad to hear that you are enjoying our site...
  19. voodoopowermini.kext seems to lower cpu temps from mid 70's to 50's
  20. in rc5 you do have a gui plus it comes with chameleon prefpane as a choice. comes in handy for making changes to chameleon and it's an installer package so pretty simple to install. it should overwrite the old chameleon.
  21. apply restart fix in chameleon2 rc5 655 or higher
  22. I believe you can. also you can get a newer chameleon from the osx wiki link is on the top of page or search the forum.
