have you marked the disk partition as active for thumb drive? I think you can use gparted in ubuntu cd.. i did it in windows vista or win 7 using CMD.exe diskpart command

You need to delete Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver.plist then you will get extended mode back but every time you try mirror mode you are going to have issue's like the grey screen. There's a thread on this topic already in the forum.

Yes that explains why it booted faster than norm usualy it would paused waiting to give irq to pcmcia/ audio/ netcard. Pcmcia took the longest though Irq 18

tried it now i do not have video black screen on boot. i tried injection,Graphics enabler, diffrent bootloaders and modules, only thing that worked was adding video kexts to extra which defeats the need for dsdt. but thanks for at least trying to help me much appreciated.

That's probably why i have issue with your boot loader and sleep... but link said that irq 9-Free (may be labeled/appear as IRQ 2) do you think that's why Hpet is there? How can i fix to have proper DSDT

that probably why bootloader never finds Hpet.. and yes i can adjust brightness from display menu.. here is my dsdt unmodified from linux dsdt.aml.zip

Well Slice I seem to have all of the problems that Mariusz has plus when i put the machine to sleep it wakes back up instantly like if something was being called on the bus.. I'm using a dsdt mariusz compiled which worked for me previously... also if this module loaded does it interfere with applehdadisabler or voodoohda KextPatcher.dylib -- for AppleHDA dsdt.aml.zip

What prefpane are you using Apple one or voodoohda? Also what does system profiler say about audio?

ps.. stray trackpad input dosent work on any trackpad kext if it's an alps trackpad
