Several glitches marred the Mac App Store's launch today, with some errors seemingly related to the way that Mac OS X 10.6.6 deals with non-native partitions, and others likely just launch-day bugs. And while the problems could certainly be related to an unexpected surge of passionate interest in a $5 Angry Birds for the Mac, it could also have to do with what appears to be a significant restructuring of how Mac OS X handles DRM. Mac OS X 10.6.6 includes a new Objective-C framework: CommerceKit. If you don't have CommerceKit.framework and the updated Security.framework on, say, a hackintoshed Dell Mini 10v, the App Store won't run, causing an error about a missing helper application. With those two frameworks, the App Store will launch, but won't allow downloads: other frameworks control that. What seems afoot here, though, is that apps bought on the Mac App Store will need to be validated with CommerceKit, similar to the digital rights management on other online marketplaces like Steam. It's interesting that the App Store app itself seems to be nothing more than a front-end to the iTunes Store. Web previews to Mac apps are located on itunes.apple.com, just like iOS apps; there's just a "View in Mac App Store" link where the "View in iTunes" link would be on a song or iOS app preview page. Whether the dire warnings of some digital rights proponents - that Mac OS X is headed for the same walled garden fate as iOS - come to pass is something that will remain to be seen. However, it'll be interesting if the protections Apple has implemented to protect downloaded apps do eventually migrate over to the music and iOS app side of the store. Source: CNET

Ok I took a look at the file you have Ps2 controller inside Ps2 controller but trackpad kext is missing. Without trackpad kext you loose functionality of trackpad and it just defaults to mouse function... so no scrolling -
Mariusz is our in house "DSDT Editor" you should get one they come in very handy lol... only problem is He's a little difficult to download

Oh you mean the pause at the black screen you hit enter

Hey Thund3r you have to turn it on from trackpad prefpane it's working for me like a Mac trackpad light slide of finger mouse moves add pressure to pad it scrolls BTW I deleted the third option it worked but it would panic at the drop of a hat. Truthfully I thought it was the AMD tscsync but that seems to be working great on my Intel machine I will try your modified version when I get home -
nub is supposed to be already included so IDK as for slices trackpad it's not working as stated no tap/side scroll so i would rather use the one from my second post and finally the boot loader i responded to the other post
-
i think only once when it boots then the longer it's on the more out of sync it gets sometimes causing kernel panics on reboot with a hot machine

It's not that hard guys just think of the unzipped folder as root/... being so that means that... boot & nvram.inf are in / Extra/modules (this is where the magic happens) The rest in Extra is not necessary but look at the boot/smbios.plist's for reference (I used my own) etc="AKA" /Private/etc Put rc.local & rc.shutdown.local in there After Reboot the boot loader will stop after detecting partitions you hit Enter key and it will resume as normal. That's all folks WARNING: May cause insomnia use as directed. If Insomnia persists for more than 24 hours add restart fix to your com.apple.Boot.plist in the event of mind loss/delerium consult your EDP specialists or replace boot with your old one Brought to you by a friend who knows a guy that has a cousin that has heard of the maker of: THE SLICE BOOT LOADER

Ok another thread on the same subject/file That has more info about ps2controller kext. There's more than just Trackpad fixes http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=240639&pid=1607125&mode=threaded&start=#entry1607125 -
Have you ever tried it before and turned on Mirroring? because Mirroring don't work yet it "corrupts" your video...Thats where I had the issue but it may also be dependent on the monitor.

The DSDTS that are uploaded to the Wiki should be "Raw" in other words Unmolested true Bios dumps no alterations, Then you take that "Raw" Bios dump and modify it so that the Mac OS thinks its accessing Mac hardware instead of DELL hardware... But you have to know where and how to manipulate the data to gain functionality. ( I for one still can't seem to get it right... Lol )
