  4. i have 3 of those machines they all boot clover from the hdd it's a bit slow to get to clover GUI but it works fine. like Jake said you can just manually transfer the EFI folder from the usb to the mounted hdd's EFI folder
  5. does that DSDT have a hardcoded ARPT device in it or a wifi kext and or injection? cause if you removed the card it should not try loading one
  6. ok if layout id 3 is not working try with layout 12
  7. it does not look like you followed any of my advice. read here maybe it will clear something up https://github.com/vit9696/AppleALC/wiki/Frequently-Asked-Questions
  8. you put the kext in clover kext folder or in Library/Extensions. make sure all audio kexts are original and untouched. in clover patches or in DSDT you try the layout id's for your codec on the list.
  9. idk it shows as supported in the wiki https://github.com/vit9696/AppleALC/wiki/Supported-codecs
  10. maybe you need this https://github.com/vit9696/Shiki/blob/master/FAQ.en.md
  11. you dump the contents of E6430 zip into /CLOVER folder. also in kext/other folder there are kexts that need to go into Library/Extensions (LE)
  12. they both have info that will help you like jakes guide informing about the issues with bios versions and video corruption but my hack will not work on latest os. pokens guid helps with clover but it is probably an outdated version then whats current. a lot of changes in clover over the years.there is also this guide by herve with is the newest of the 3 that is the same hardware family as yours but his does not have the nvidia option. so simple and straight forward i guess not. I'm sure there is more info scattered around the site but not all in the same basket and also here we have boot packs for the e6530 with your graphics http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp/compatibility/looks to have chameleon and clover boot packs at different os versions.
  13. have you tried putting it in the wwan slot you have to remove a cover and 2 screws to get it in there. also make sure its properly detected in bios.
  14. make sure your using latest firmware for your ssd.
  15. put your os kernel in the location stated in your picture if the path does not exist create the folders as stated and drop in the kernel.
  16. the macbook pro 6,1 used arrandale cpu maybe you can try using that as your smbios. the only issue i can see is what type of connecter your display uses if LVDS you might be able to get full graphics support if its eDP connection then that might be an issue. you can check this link for more info about 1st gen intel graphics support.
  17. yes put it in Clover/ACPI/Patched/
  18. intel wifi will not work either.
  19. you can try this method http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311293-applealc-%E2%80%94-dynamic-applehda-patching/ here is a list of supported codecs and layout id's to test https://github.com/vit9696/AppleALC/wiki/Supported-codecs
  20. it does not say allowed which means you probably have SIP enabled. disable it using your bootloaders CSR config.
  21. you can try an older smbios like mbp3,1 or 4,1 for install purposes, it might be old enough where it does not mess with usb. then you can tweek later as you mention. i am not positive though that it will be a solution but you wont know till you try i guess.
  22. if it works well without your EDID injection then you do not have to inject it manually clover might already be doing it. you can check if EDID is found in clover boot.log. as for screen you can manually calibrate it in the display prefpane under the color tab.
  23. this is a bit old but it might help understand the ig platform id-s for hd4000 http://blog.stuffedcow.net/2012/07/intel-hd4000-qeci-acceleration/
  24. tried some of your older config files you posted in the first couple of pages?
