Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 19, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 19, 2018 Wait, you modified a folder that currently existed? You suppose to generate a new one from the EDID app, mod it and place in the Overrides folder I guess this quote was not clear. I meant if the generated unmodified folder itself doesn't work, then modified it Quote Not sure, give it a try. If it still doesn't work, then try this Open DisplayProductID-xxxx.plist with PlistEdit, find 21st binary code "95", and replace it to "A5". Save, and copy with folder together to /System/Library/Displays/Contents/Resources/Overrides Reboot and test
tikizondo94
i copied a folder and modified its data then renamed it and added it as another folder. Did not overwrite the "original folder". Just added a new folder with modded data.

tikizondo94
I tried the attached version of darwin dumper. But im still getting the same result. Just gives an EDID folder with nothing in it. And yes I also installed the lastest clover build. Still seems to be locking at the same point. Im wondering if the DVMT may still need to be pushed to 160 like you did. Im try to muster up the strength to do it lol.
tikizondo94
#Jake Lo, The Darwin Dumper output text is strange. Is says "no EDID info found in clover bootlog" But if i open a new clover bootlog at anytime it shows my EDID data..??
