hayden white
Hello. I prepared my installer according to the guide, but when I go to boot to the installer, it shows the Apple logo for maybe 1/2 a second. Does anybody know what could fix this? I am trying to install macOS Sierra
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 20, 2018 Moderators Share Posted August 20, 2018 Replace the bootpack with one of these in this link depending on your system's specs. Files go into /EFI/Clover Post Kernel Panic or error if it still fails
hayden white
I tried using the latest Sierra Kexts and got the same results. Then I tried the latest HS kexts and got the same results. I try booting in verbose mode and select don't reboot on kernel panic, but it still reboots every single time. All I can tell is that when booting in verbose, it only shows 2 or 3 lines for a split second before rebooting.
acquarius.13
I had some similar issues on my E7450. It seems like DSDT not properly patched. @Jake Lo patched that for me. But firstly you have to hit spacebar at clover spalshscreen and select verbose and debug mode (0x100). Take some pictures and post them. Then reboot, press F4 at clover splashscreen and then upload the ACPI folder: I think that the crew can help you much more with those informations
hayden white
Here is what the Verbose boot says: AMF: Only 128/256 slide values are usable! Valid slides: 128-
hayden white
How can I upload a folder? I tried a folder but it won't let me. Then I tried the DSDT.aml but I can't upload that either
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 20, 2018 Moderators Share Posted August 20, 2018 Should read the FAQ section. All files must be compressed before you could upload, graphics are already compressed, so can directly be attached Compress the entire Clover folder and attach it Better to post a screenshot than a 2 liners...sometimes the last lines is not the cause of the KP
hayden white
Those are the only two lines that show up before reboot. I will compress the clover folder and then upload it.
hayden white
here is the compressed CLOVER folder. CLOVER.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 20, 2018 Moderators Share Posted August 20, 2018 You're missing the bootpack. ACPI, Kexts and Config.plist in /EFI/Clover I mentioned it a few posts above Looks like you place the files in /EFI/Clover/OEM/SystemProductName Move them to /EFI/Clover should fix the issue
