naulaksan
Will an upgrade (with the same EFI folder contents from HS) just work?
Administrators Bronxteck Posted September 26, 2018 Administrators Share Posted September 26, 2018 most likely if not it might just need minor tweaks.

naulaksan
Need help removing these two boot options:
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 28, 2018 Moderators Share Posted September 28, 2018 In Config file, under GUI/Hide Volume, add this Preboot If you're using AppleALC.kext, change layout-id to 15, you'll get the rare audio Jack working too. You just have to manually select it in preferences.

morpheousman
I've just did a Mojave install as well. I could not get installer to boot in UEFI, so I got impatient, and installed it in legacy mode. First boot, no sound, so I have some reading and tweaks to do. Probably will go with Apple.ALC. Setup will take a bit longer on this standard HD drive. I don't have a spare SSD to test with at the moment. Sleep is working if I manually put it to sleep. I will do some more testing.
