Administrators Hervé Posted October 15, 2019 Administrators Share Posted October 15, 2019 @checked, please post saved output from IORegistryExplorer app. Please note that placing kexts in C/k/O AND /L/E is obviously not necessary since you should only be using one or the other. Seems like you do not fully master this...

Administrators Hervé Posted October 16, 2019 Administrators Share Posted October 16, 2019 Folks, re: Bluetooth, I installed Mieze's latest drivers published at InsanelyMac. It's loading FW version 4689 and works great! I've finally recovered Bluetooth full operations with the DW1820A (#0VW3T3, 1028:0021) of my 7490 running Catalina after caching the following kexts (from /L/E) from her latest V2.3.0d3 driver package: BrcmBluetoothInjector BrcmFirmwareRepo BrcmPatchRAM3 I invite you all to try Mieze's drivers and let her know of your results at IM. Administrators Hervé Posted October 17, 2019 Administrators Share Posted October 17, 2019 Arf, seems I spoke too soon; a day later, it's back to unreliable mode...
blueberrybone6288
you got me all excited Hervé!! Did yours become unreliable after a reboot or has it been powered on the whole time? My problem came from rebooting to BIOS (never shutdown) to fix fan noise but after rebooting to BIOS twice it came back to macOS and bluetooth was unreliable... (before that worked for 3 whole days no problems!)

axium
For those suddenly having issues after using the card without issue, boot into recovery mode then reboot as normal. This has worked for me on multiple occations.
