Nichod
Its from app store. And I got it kind of working. It installs, but at the end of the install it states that the install failed.
Darvinko
There have been instances, usually on updates, where you get an indication that the install failed, when in reality it installed normally. Check to make sure this isn't the case.

Nichod
Got it working with some hackery in Ubuntu. Current issue is that the keys don't seem to be set up correctly. The windows key isn't the Apple key for instance. Is this a common issue? And has anyone successfully installed the Itunes/safari updates?
Administrators Bronxteck Posted January 15, 2013 Administrators Share Posted January 15, 2013 yes that is normal i believe you can fix it in the keyboard prefpane.

bobdamnit
Open System Preferences and click "Keyboard'. Open the "Keyboard" tab, then select "Modifier Keys". Make "Command" be "Option", and vise versa. This will setup the "Windows" key as the Apple key. (Command.) You can also setup the "Control" key to be the Apple key if you want, as it acts more like the "Control" key in Windows. (Does copy/past/save etc..) Administrators Hervé Posted January 15, 2013 Administrators Share Posted January 15, 2013 Or use a combination of DoubleCommand + Logitech national keyboard layouts -> perfectly matched keyboard.
Nichod
Thanks guys. Does anyone know if we can install the update? I read earlier that someone tried and it messed up the App Store.
