DLinkOZ
I get it with the -f as well, but I'm game to trying again (4897th time is the charm!). No dice, though that was expected.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted October 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 28, 2013 well it sure is the trackpad kext and its in debug mode. do you guys run a myfix after removing things from e/e? if you dont the kexts inside myhack.kext do not get updated neither does the kernel cache so it would still have the same kext as before deleting them from e/e the system would not be any wiser to the changes. JSIN
Hello I followed the instructions to the T twice now and cant seem to get Wireless working. I have a Dell 1510/Broadcom 4322 card that the instructions says works. It would seem wireless doesnt even exisit. Will the same patch that works on ML work on Mavericks? Or is it suppose to be working by defautl?

This may seem like a really stupid question, but how would I run myfix against the hard drive when it only comes up in safe mode? **EDIT** USB installer also only boots via -x
Administrators Bronxteck Posted October 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 28, 2013 add the -s flag. when it pauses then do as it asks to mount the drive read write then do a myfix -t /
DLinkOZ
Nevermind, ran myfix via terminal, rebooting and crossing fingers.

DLinkOZ
Still couldn't boot, also tried with -f per original instructions. Tried with -s, completely different fault. Getting a pic over to this computer.
DLinkOZ
This the attempt to go into single user mode. Perhaps it needs the CPU power management kext removed, as an additional test?
DLinkOZ
Strange, I booted again using both f and s (no x), and I got a single-user version of the desktop. Even had hardware video accelleration. I'm going to keep playing with it.
