huskerphile
If you check the guide (https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/3112-e6410-mavericks-guide/) under updates, Patel4Prez posted the e1000 kext you need to get the intel NIC running. I need to pick up another wireless card, as mine has the not-supported Intel card. I just got the Edimax EW-7811Un card that was mentioned in the ML thread. I just got it installed and it's working great.
npolite
depends on what you have in there; I have Intel for both wifi & ethernet; everything I have seen says I will need to replace the wifi card. Haven't figured out the ethernet yet. I have the Broadcom card in my E6410. I was able to get the Lan working by installing the 10.8 kext.
Dr. Monkey
So I am on a mission to try to sort out sleep with this model. So far I have: * Patched AppleLPC to make sure it loads. * Modified AGPM to enable power management of the nVidia card( yay for GPU speedsteep)* * set darkwake=0 * set hibernatemode=0 * cleared anything shown by pmset -g assertions * set lidwake=0 * Tried PleaseSleep * Made Sure I am running vanilla AppleCPUPM. All without success I know someone had mentioned that they thought HDMI audio was somehow preventing sleep. Can someone point me to that info if possible? I've been able to fudge native sleep on another model ( Studio 1535), so Im hopeful I can do it again, but any pointers into the possible cause would really help me out. Administrators Bronxteck Posted October 31, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 31, 2013 did you check if there are any usb assertions? might have to modify dsdt to add power management to ehci and other usb controllers and hubs.
Dr. Monkey
did you check if there are any usb assertions? might have to modify dsdt to add power management to ehci and other usb controllers and hubs. I do have a kernel assertion for ECHI. Administrators Bronxteck Posted November 2, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 2, 2013 looks like address book sync is preventing sleep for some reason. but not sure if thats the only thing.
brainlobe
Hi patel4prez, Thank u for your good work. I have couple problems. Fallow all things but my sound, wifi and first time boot loader didnt working. All time i must use "-f" if i don't, after gives kernel panic. After I use multi beast 6.0, bootloder is working now but wifi doesn't work. sound stable, volume working just one line, u cant take of or down. I passed sleep problem, u can use multifail 6.0 for this. Bluffpearce
Hi, I am a complete newbee on OSX and Hackingtosh Yesterday i started on my E6410 i7 nVidia. Creation of the usb and the installation after where whitout errors. Restarting gave me the boot0 error, but i fix that this morning by removing the voodoops2 mouse and keyboard. Not working are wifi, ethernet and sound. I have an Intel Centrino 6250 AGN Wifi and i will replace that. I have an Intel 82577 LM Gigabit ethernet that will not work after the intel patch. Does anybody have a suggestion about the ethernet?
