v3ct0r
do you have ps2nub.kext in extra folder? with rehab mans version that kext is integrated into the driver so it might cause issues if you have the nub kext also. I was just going to suggest deleting it from /S/L/E & /Extra! Beat me to it!
deano019s
No traces of ps2nub.kext in Extra or S/ L /E
Administrators Bronxteck Posted October 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 28, 2013 hmm then you might have to remove the trackpad kext to see if it is your issue. you will need a usb mouse and keyboard.
deano019s
Okay, removed all the Voodoo kexts relating to mouse, touchpad and controller Still the same issue/error in the end

v3ct0r
Try installing Chameleon to the Hard Drive from myHack - Boot to the Installation Drive, in Utilities, Click on myHack, and Install Chameleon to the Hard Drive you put OS X on.

I believe the only chameleon argument he is using is "-x" to get the system to boot... Also, DLinkOz, if you can post yours, I believe you are having the same error, so we can compare both of your Extra folders
deano019s
Okay, I've been following your Maverick guide Patel, currently at the post installation step - Can't run myhack from the post installation folder as I can only boot into safe mode - and myhack wont run in safe mode Here is my chameleon flags/options from the plist. The extra folder can be found here at patel's guide https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/3112-e6410-mavericks-guide/ If you wish I can still upload mine In the extensions folder I have: FakeSMC, lspcidrv, NullCPUPowerManagement, Patched_10.7_AppleRTC, VoodooBattery These are exactly the same on the HDD and the flash drive oh yes, also using -x to boot into safe mode (the only way I can get in) Edited October 28, 2013 by deano019s
DLinkOZ
My setup seems pretty identical to deano019s's. However, post install (install via -x) I can't even get into safe mode. Note this was an upgrade, would it be worthwhile trying it from scratch?
DLinkOZ
Hold that, I used the boot menu to boot my hd via the USB drive's bootloader, and I seem to be able to boot into safe mode. Still booting, but better than what happened in the previous post's screenshot.
