DLinkOZ
I have the same extras as deano, however I still have my VoodooPS2* kexts (taking them out before did no good, so when I made a new USB drive with my golden-goose-always-works-never-lets-me-down thumbdrive, I left everything default). huskerphile
My setup seems pretty identical to deano019s's. However, post install (install via -x) I can't even get into safe mode. Note this was an upgrade, would it be worthwhile trying it from scratch? I get the same exact KP if I boot without the "-f" flag.
deano019s
Very, very weird. Might download multifail and see what extras I can install that might fix this error
Administrators Bronxteck Posted October 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 28, 2013 are there any kexts in your E/E folder that is also in S/L/E? you might have to backup and remove the ones in S/L/E you might not be generating a kernel cache which is why you need the -f flag. check in console app to see if you are getting errors. I looked through the E/E folder as well as S/L/E and didn't see any conflicts. Here's a screen grab of my KP:
deano019s
I've just checked, no duplicate kexts anywhere either - have removed nullcpu and fakesmc, still no luck - put them back and still trying. Going to remove AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement next
deano019s
I'm not sure if I'm right, but does -x only read /S /L /E??
