looks like you have to use a supported machine's smbios info for your os according to the picture.

That the smbios file i created is no good?

well if it boots fine from usb but does not boot properly from the hdd then you have conflicting info the 2 drives. use whats working for you on the usb i guess.

If I boot from USB all is fine.

 

Also, I mounted the EFI with the app v3.

Replaced efi folder in the mounted partition on the Macintosh HDD.and it boots fine.

 

In step 10 in part 3,

All files I load and save is from the mounted efi partition? Or I load from USB and save to the mounted Efi on Macintosh HDD?

Any suggestion?

Did that still same msg. will try again.

 

Also, I re-did the EFI partition and restored it to original  state (part 3 stpe 5)

 

seems, the pc works faster with original settings. any ideas why?

I did new model for smbios (instead of macbook air chose mackbook pro 9,2) can this be the problem? how can I only change the serial and keep other settings ?

You may manually edit the SMBIOS plist through a text editor like TextEdit or vi in Terminal (if you know vi of course). One of the easiest way is to use Chameleon Wizard app from which you can open up your existing SMBIOS plist file and generate random serial numbers.

You'll need to rerun all the commands, not just that last commands.

Launch Clover Configuration, open the Config file from the EFI partition.

Click on SMBIos on the left and click on the 'magic wand' on the right.

Select the model you want from dropdown to generate a new key, just click on the shake button a few times and save the config.

Make use to use the Clover Configuration from Tools attached on post #1 or download version 4.25 or newer if exist.
