  1. Make sure BIOS is set to UEFI AHCI Legacy Option ROMs enabled Secure boot disabled XD CPU support enabled For E7440, use my bootpack. Files goes into /EFI/Clover replacing the old
  2. If you could get to the BIOS, just selecting Load Defaults will set the setting back prior to you changing the DVMT.
  3. Wait, you modified a folder that currently existed? You suppose to generate a new one from the EDID app, mod it and place in the Overrides folder I guess this quote was not clear. I meant if the generated unmodified folder itself doesn't work, then modified it
  4. every two words equals one Byte-count from zero in your example, it's 00FFFFFF FFFFFF00 4D10DD21 01010101 00170103 80462778
  5. If you folder you're adding here is has same name with another, then rename the folder in here, don't override it. Then copy the new folder over.
  6. Not sure, give it a try. If it still doesn't work, then try this Open DisplayProductID-xxxx.plist with PlistEdit, find 21st binary code "95", and replace it to "A5". Save, and copy with folder together to /System/Library/Displays/Contents/Resources/Overrides Reboot and test
  7. I see you use Clover EDID injection, seems it doesn't work for all systems. Have you tried replacing the custom DisplayVendorID-xxxx to /System/Library/Displays/Contents/Resources/Overrides?
  8. did you add Lilu.kext, IntelGraphicsFixup.kext, FakePCIID.kext & FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext NVM: Just saw them in your kextcache.log
  9. Saw this on another KabyLake setup_var 0x76D 0x2 (set Pre-Allocated to 64MB, we don't have 96MB option) setup_var 0x76E 0x3 (set Total Gfx Mem)
  10. Just need to install ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi from Clover install, don't add APFS.efi Make sure you still have HFSPlus.efi or VboxHfs.efi If you have USB Port limit patch previously, you need to add a new one Post your Clover folder for review if necessary
  11. @Ed Kozuto Replace DSDT with attached. Remove VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID from /S/L/E and /L/E Add latest VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID to /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other Repair permissions and rebuild cache DSDT.aml.zip
  12. First delete /EFI/NVRam.plist Then Try to install Clover according to these settings. https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/10791-e7270-cant-boot-high-sierra-installer/?do=findComment&comment=83003
  13. @Grave Remove VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID from /L/E Add latest version of VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID to /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other Repair permissions and rebuild cache
  14. Could be the added Wireless card that added the additional SSDT? I'm not sure, I didn't spend the time to compare. Just knew some has more, others less and that causes wireless card not detected. Going forward, it's probably best to patch own DSDT/SSDT instead of using mine if they're not working correctly.
  15. Try reinstalling Clover, selecting the following settings: Install for UEFI booting only Install Clover in the ESP Drivers64UEFI\(leave the selected defaults) uncheck VBoxHfs-64 Drivers64UEFI\AptioMemoryFix-64 Drivers64UEFI\PartitionDxe-64 Drivers64UEFI\(Uncheck EmuVariableUefi-64, OsxAptioFixDrv-64, OsxAptioFix2Drv-64) Install Clover Preference Pane Don't forget to select/add ApfsDriverLoader-64 if you had converted to APFS format. Also remove/uncheck "Install RC scripts on target volume" option as it can save and load variables to nvram. The rc scripts are meant for emuvariable and legacy clover
  16. First off, you shouldn't be using the alternative bootpack, wrong for you system. Second, usually change hardware and BIOS settings breaks the system especially when the DSDT/SSDT are statically patched for a specific config. Here, replace the attached to /EFI/Clover Also remove the following from /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI EmuVariableUefi-64.efi OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi AptioMemoryFix-64.efi replaces them both E7470_bobgunnison.zip
  17. Clear the Origin folder. Boot to Clover GUI, press F4. Compress and attach Clover folder here I'll update and patch the files for you.
  18. Does it work in Sierra prior to the upgrade? You're using the same audio kexts correct?
