  1. Best backup is to have working bootable USB installer hanging around incase anything break during upgrade. Also have a copy of the working Clover folder along with all the kexts you had installed to /L/E and or /S/L/E.
  2. Update Clover to latest version, you're on a very old version v4128 Try also, go to BIOS. Load Default, Apply. Go back and set to the following UEFI AHCI TPM disabled Secure Boot disabled CPU XD Support enabled Wake on LAN/WWAN/WLAN disabled Enable LAN Power settings -> Adaptive Save and reboot
  3. Yes, updates installs just fine. Rule of thumb, after any updates / changes, always repair permission and rebuild cache. Both Sierra and High Sierra run just as well as El Capitan on this system. If you plan to upgrade to them, make sure to update the bootpack and Clover loader prior. Since you're on Clover, you can upgrade directly to Sierra or High Sierra just like a real Mac.
  4. Sounds like either the USB installer or the source file is bad. Try either recreate the install and test. If that still fails, then redownload it from AppStore. It should at minimum have NetworkInterface.plist in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/
  5. There's no support for Intel Wireless, needs to be replaced. I use DW1560 & DW1830, both work well.
  6. Try this for display after sleep
  7. For HS, you need to update to latest Clover. You might need to enable FixHeaders as well in Config file Rename HECI to IMEI in Config file under ACPI fixes. Boot with verbose and debug 0x100 to determine the KP
  8. /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ showing the same list of files, no NetworkInterface.plist? Do you have Windows or any other OS running on it to confirm if the network device is actually detected and working? You could try Ubuntu live disk if you don't to test.
  9. I always choose 'My computer does not connect to the Internet' during post install, never tried the other options. So the Install macOS Sierra.app (source) is from Appstore and not a Distro?
  10. Yeah, where did you get the source file to create the installer?
  11. Copy the SystemConfiguration folder to the Desktop as a backup and then delete the folder in Preferences. Reboot, it should recreate a new folder. Also in Network Location, can you select the drop down and select Automatic?
  12. That confirms the same issue tldrbro's having. Wonder if you could unload and reload the kext to see if it'll work sudo kextunload /pathToKext/VoodooPS2Controller.kext sudo kextload /pathToKext/VoodooPS2Controller.kext Note: You need to point to the actual path of the kext...
  13. - Go to /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ and delete these files: CaptiveNetworkSupport com.apple.airport.preferences.plist com.apple.network.eapolclient.configuration.plist NetworkInterfaces.plist - Go to System Preferences > Network, delete all connection. Then restart - Go to System Preferences > Network, add your connection again.
  14. Neither. Go to System Configuration/Integrated NIC. Select Enabled. Disable Wake On LAN/WLAN, help with sleep issue
  15. It's not even showing in the device in DPCIManager. Have you check the BIOS that it's enabled?
  16. use the More Reply Options on the lower right Follow instructions from here to debug issue run gen_debug -sysprofile
  17. run this and post the result log show --style syslog | fgrep "Wake reason"
  18. Try this DSDT, I added the wireless patch so you don't have to use the kextinjector as seen in your kextcache log Also you have IOath3kfrmwr.kext, isn't that for Bluetooth? Since you don't have bluetooth, you can leave that kext out too So remove IOath3kfrmwr.kext & AtherosWiFiInjector.kext. See if eliminating those kexts could help fix sleep Replace DSDT.aml Repair permission and rebuild cache DSDT-sleep2.zip
  19. Had you check the BIOS? Disable Wake on LAN/WLAN/WWAN/USB/Bluetooth
  20. Does it work after wake from sleep?
  21. If you don't want to mod the BIOS as it might be difficult for some models, you could skip this step by adding 2 new kexts to /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other Lilu.kext & IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext
  22. Boot to Clover, hit F4. Continue booting to OSX Run IOReg IORegistryExplorer_v2.1.zip and save file Run DPCIManager , screen capture Status and PCI List Mount EFI Compress and attach the Clover + the above files here for review
  23. That's just for the keyboard key to control the brightness slider. Ok, good you're upgraded, but looks like you're missing AppleBacklightInjector.kext Copy it from /E/C/k/Other/LE to /Library/Extensions Remove AppleALC.kext, I see you have it in /E/C/k/Other already Repair permission and rebuild cache.
