Ok, send me new Origin folder for v302
-
Ok, use this bootpack. 7480_Skylake.zip
-
What version of Bios does it have now? The Origin folder in post #4 and #6 are different, did you change some settings in the BIOS or upgrade the BIOS?
-
if you could make the USB installer, you could easily copy that file to /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI I'm assuming you have a Mac to create the USB Installer. Use EFI Mounter v3.app from the guide I linked above to mount the EFI partition of the USB drive. Navigate to /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI and drop the file there. Done
-
Not sure what you mean. If you downloaded from App Store and created the installer, then you are set. For AMD processor you might need a patched kernel. Google for it take a look at this guide
-
You should have ethernet a minimum...what bootpack did you use? attach for review
-
LOL...I guess you never bothered to download the file from the link I posted. When extracted, all the individual sensor kexts are there.

HFSPlus.efi - GitHub Put it in the USB installer /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI this will allow you to see the ssd drive See Clover guide here

Latitude 5480 keyboard and trackpad not working
Jake Lo replied to Astorphobis's topic in The Archive
That system, although the same model, has a Skylake CPU with HD 520, yours is Kabylake with HD 620. If you boot with the USB installer, the files will be extracted to the USB EFI partition, if you boot from the SSD, then it'll be in the SSD EFI partition. FYI. If the wireless/bluetooth combo card is Intel, it's not supported. Need to be replace with a known supported card like DW1560 or DW1830. Audio should work, you just need to install the correct codec & patches. -
Older versions with sensors were causing KP, so all sensors were removed. The included FakeSMC is vanilla, no custom mod was done to it. The new ones I linked should have fixed the KP issue.

Kernel Panic 6430u (i7-3687u HD4000 1600x900) on Sierra
Jake Lo replied to antrieb's topic in The Archive
As Hervé mentioned. Run this. Delete all that are found. Only have the version Hervé attached above in /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other. Delete all other folders other than "Other". sudo find / -name VoodooPS2*.kext -print 2>/dev/null -

Latitude 5480 keyboard and trackpad not working
Jake Lo replied to Astorphobis's topic in The Archive
Did you check /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin if any files there? If you have FN on by default, then the key combo would be Fn+F4. If you have Synaptics, use this latest version. Just place in /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-voodoo-ps2-controller/downloads/ -
Kernel Panic 6430u (i7-3687u HD4000 1600x900) on Sierra

Kexts could only be loaded from /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other or the 10.12. or /L/E or S/L/E. Kexts from other directory could only be loaded if you manually load it yourself. The directory from your screenshot is from a backup when you upgraded Clover loader. Right click the Install tab and select HIDE. Your system does not have Thunderbolt as a real Mac does. -
Check the BIOS, see if you have 'Wake on LAN" enabled. Disable if you have it. Check also for WLAN, WWAN, Bluetooth, AC... Try using Karabiner-Element app to re-assign the Fn keys for Brightness, audio...etc
-
Could be an USB issue. Try rename EHC1 -> EH01 and EHC2 -> EH02. You can add that to the Config.plist too instead of the DSDT.

Latitude 5480 keyboard and trackpad not working

try F4 or Fn+F4. I don't see VoodooPS2Controller or ApplePS2Controller in your files, did you install to /L/E or /S/L/E? Without either, you won't have keyboard or trackpad functionality. Did you determine what touchpad device it has? Alps, Synaptics, Elantouch...etc. -
ELAN, FocalTech and Synaptics (Smart Touchpad) Driver
Jake Lo replied to EMlyDinEsH's topic in Smart Touchpad
could be a caching issue. rebuild permission and rebuild cache sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E* sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E* sudo chmod -Rf 755 /S*/L*/E* sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /S*/L*/E* sudo touch -f /L*/E* sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E* sudo kextcache -Boot -U / -
Only copy add-on kexts to /L/E, not /S/L/E as quoted by Hervé. Leave the essential kexts in /E/E. i.e. FakeSMC.kext...

already tried NvidiaGraphicsFixup & Lilu which lead to the above screenshot. If nv_disable=1 enabled, it'll have no QE/CI. I guess NVS4200m is really not supported but works perfectly on El Capitan. Just need the BIOS set with Optimus so HD 3000 can be use instead but the BIOS kept resetting after each restart. AppleRTC hotpatch doesn't seem to be working, similar to the Dell Optimus. Going to try RTC8Allow and see if that have any affect.

Uncheck all the infoplistPatch, they are not infoplist patches, they are binary patches. I accidentally disabled the audio patch, now with that enabled, check HDMI after you uncheck all the infoplistpatch Update: For some reason hda-gfx is not showing in HDEF even though it's declared in DSDT. So added it in to the Config file and updated the VGA patch. Try new Config.plist HP430_HDMI_VGA.zip

realtek rtl8723be is not supported. that's what's in your system
-
Ok, you'll need to have access to a Mac and the Sierra app to create the Installer. See this Clover guide, in post #2, use the generic EFI + the attach files that goes into the /EFI/Clover folder HP2337.zip
