  1. were you able to install Clover to the USB drive? What error are you getting? VMWare has been known to work for some...
  2. Try replacing these files and folders into Clover folder HP430_Sierra.zip
  3. Try this, replace config.plist and place DSDT/SSDT in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched M6700.zip
  4. USB issue. Attach your Clover folder for review.
  5. Replace with this config file config.plist.zip
  6. File looks ok, but you're not using the latest version from the link, should be 21.5, yours is showing 15.7beta What error are you getting, boot with verbose mode.
  7. Attach your Clover folder for review Also attach IOReg IORegistryExplorer_v2.1.zip And screenshots of Status and PCI List with DPCIManager https://sourceforge.net/projects/dpcimanager/ Are you using an existing bootpack?
  8. @seeker_pl, with those specs, it looks like the E7470 you're replacing. should be an easy hack, just use the same guide
  9. disable fixRegion if you have it enabled
  10. you must have an older voodoops2controller in your USB installer. You can find a newer file in my Sierra bootpack.
  11. If you have read the guide, you would've seen this part. 8. Repair permission and rebuild cache. Run command from terminal sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E* sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E* sudo touch -f /L*/E* sudo chmod -Rf 755 /S*/L*/E* sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /S*/L*/E* sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E* sudo kextcache -Boot -U /
  12. Might have to be updated too, you can test it first
  13. Yes, boot with USB installer and then select the local drive. Once logged in, you could upgrade
  14. Yes VM or this http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/288795-guide-creating-os-x-usb-installer-using-a-windows-pc-only/?do=findComment&comment=2012539 if you don't have a Mac to work with
  15. Not knowing what wireless card, ethernet, exact audio device it has, we could start with this until you install MacOS. Follow my Clover guide here to create the installer, use the bootpack attached. Don't forget to include the generic EFI from post #2 R510VX.zip
  16. 1) Upgrade to latest Clover 2) if you have Voodoops2Controller, make sure to upgrade to latest version 3) Upgrade other kexts as well if there's newer version Now you're ready for upgrade. Latest should be 10.12.6
  17. QCA9377 is not supported. Try DW1560 or DW1830, both are M.2 wifi/bluetooth combo card.
  18. Right click next to the Update tab and select Hide Update
  19. You could just hide it from installation. Yes, SD Card reader works for most Latitude ranging from SandyBridge to Broadwell that comes with the O2 Micro card. Starting with Skylake, Dell replaced them with Realtek that's not supported.
  20. Does bluetooth shows up under USB of system information? If not, then it could be the USBInjectAll + SSDT-USB.aml are not working. If that's the case, enable USB port limit in the Config file, remove the SSDT-USB.aml in EFI Reboot and check again. By the way, what bluetooth device do you have?
  21. Try new bootpack Firmware updates are for real Macs. Either generate new smbios with latest Clover Configurator or use one from the new bootpack, has new SMBIOS. Shouldn't take an hour to finish unless your USB installer has slow read or you drive is mechanical and not SSD. HFSPlus.efi is included in the generic EFI attachment. You probably miss this big note in post #2 for the bootpacks Note: Bootpack (EFI) consists of combining the Generic EFI + the model you're downloading!!! New bootpack has additional SSDT-USB by anhgiang, so might fix the bluetooth issue. When rebuilding cache, errors might occur. Rerun the touch and kextcache commands again until errors are gone. Error 107 shouldn't occur if you're installing 10.12.4 and above.
